Midway to Love
(2019)

Great Movie with Unique Storyline
This movie has a unique realistic storyline as there is no evil plotting from a Mother in law , Queen or ex-girlfriend. The sets are amazing. There are few cliche' moments on the female lead side but that is to be expected...but the Dad character is adorable..

Christmas with Holly
(2012)

Bring Tissues
This will be one of those movies that you want to watch each year... Sentimental and endearing as the youngest of three brothers is left as the guardian to his young niece when his sister passed. The movie explores what could really happen to an entire family when tradegy strikes and how they can come back together when it counts. The supporting cast is great and Kenda to the credibility of the lead characters. Great movie!

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year
(2008)

A movie the Hubby will watch with you.
As Christmas Movies go, they tend to rotate around a similar storyline and even though we know the resistant prince will eventually warm to the crown once the shy but feisty woman pops up, we will still watch them with the wonder each year and then call our friends and tell them to watch too. Then as luck will have it, one's husband tends to find something else to do when 'Hallmark Season' appears...But this could be one where even he would say is entertaining. Not only is there the love story that has to play out, but the supporting cast is brillant as Henry Winkler plays everyone's favorite Uncle. The dialogue is crisp with subtle humor and the child is bratty an obnoxious when the thought of Mom 'dating' is a possibility..The chemistry is great and believable and of course the 'boyfriend' doesn't disappoint as the 'tool.'

Falling for Vermont
(2017)

A Favorite for Sure
May contain spoilers: There is a couple 'hey wait a minute' moments in this movie, but overall I found it sweet and endearing. The chemistry of the cast is spot-on and the kiddos are well-behaved and are not waiting to the end to be nice to the lead. A single father crosses paths with a woman who has lost her memory due to an accident and so they both rely on each other to find their way back.

Valentine Ever After
(2016)

A Sweet Romantic Movie with Humor
Could Contain Spoilers Ahead: What I found most endearing is the family and friends that support the male lead character (Ben Thomas). Of course the boyfriend back home is always 'over the top' in how different he is than the lead woman, but that's to be expected in these kind of movies. But it is sweet, none the less and has some subtle and sweet humor along the way.

A Taste of Romance
(2011)

A Touch of Romance and Humor
Could be Spoilers Ahead: A single father hoping to provide a new adventure for his little girl open a Restaurant next to an established French Restaurant after the death of his Wife. This movie has a great blend of subtle humor as well as a genuine and supportive cast of friends and family that make it very sweet and funny.

Love Under the Stars
(2015)

Bring tissues and your heart with you.
Could Contain Spoilers: This is an all time favorite, as this story follows a single father just trying to do the best he can after losing his wife. He soon crosses paths with a grad student who also is struggling with loss of her own. The emotion is geninue and the story sentimental.

Love Under the Rainbow
(2019)

A Romantic Tale Under a Rainbow
Could have Spoilers: A great ensemble cast brings this sweet story to life. The lead woman is not waiting to be 'completed' by the lead male which makes this movie very realistic. The chemistry is great and the story solid.

Christmas at the Palace
(2018)

A Royal Movie with a genuine feel.
Could contain spoilers: Traditionally the 'Royal' movies feature a Prince who is still figuring out his path regarding the Crown. This movie is about a King who is already on his way to being a great ruler. He is though, struggling with others portions of his life. But, when his Daughter hopes to let their small kingdom know how wonderful her Father truly is, despite his precieved reputation....he opens his heart to a former ice skater who is struggling with a few of her own hurdles. This movie also had a very strong supporting cast and they are less like the 'side-kicks' and make the movie more of a strong ensemble cast. So don't pass this one by.

We Bought a Zoo
(2011)

Perfect Family Film
CONTAINS POSSIBLE SPOILERS: This was the perfect film for Matt Damon. He comes across genuine and sincere. The idea that life will in fact through you curve balls and it is how you deal with that is completely up to you. The movie gives a realistic look at how you may handle a tragedy and the world doesn't stop to let you catch up. Yes, I know there is some predictability in the story here and there but the journey the movie takes is quite sweet and funny at moments. In regards to the Family Film aspect, it touches on several things families can relate to. Sure there is a few curse words , but they are used to convey a message that opens communication for families that may have experienced something similar.
