This is pretty true to the games. Not some nonsense re-tool like the Mila Jovovich ones were. Those movies were Resident Evil in name only. This movie was essentially the RE1 and RE2 video games playing out simultaneously. Good gore, good jumps, not overly convoluted. Sets up the future of the franchise well too.

Someone else made the same point. It started good. Like a comedy X-Files. Then at episode 10 it essentially drops the paranormal stuff; almost entirely. Those aspects become secondary. They just become people working in an office. I don't really know why the direction of the series changed.

Beautiful game. Awesome as Spider-Man games always are. But if you skip all of the general crime fighting and side missions, it feels like the shortest Spider-Man game to date. That's my only criticism. Feels more like a large DLC than a full game.
