The Sum of All Fears
(2002)

REALLY?!!!!!!
It's REALLY bad when they can take a pretty good book and trash it into a mediocre movie. Did they have to pay the actors extra to do this. And if the briefings are held like these in this "movie" no wonder the government is in such sad shape. I had a harder time getting my aunt's cremains through customs than they had getting a nuclear device into the country. Now we can get to Ben Affleck. This actor was too old, too overweight and it seemed like he had just woke up when he delivered his lines. I have heard grocery list read with more enthusiasm. But the last thing. Will someone show me where they are still selling cigarettes in a vending machine? Truthfully, I haven't seen one of them since around the late seventies or early eighties.

NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service: First Steps
(2022)
Episode 14, Season 19

Trite and boring
Where have all the good writers and scripts have gone? These episodes have started going down hill ever since the stupid way they wrote off Bishop. This one is at the top. NO way would Vance's daughter would be placed where her father would have say over her training. Just wouldn't be done. Some of my friends told me that this show is more like a soap opera, sorry but a soap is more realistic. It is getting to be an insult to long time fans of the show. I used to make sure I had my time cleared to watch every week, now not so much. And bye the buy, Macho Man Torres is getting old, you can only see some one flex his shoulders so often. Won't be surprised if it is soon cancelled.

The Mentalist: Red John
(2013)
Episode 8, Season 6

REALLY
They have been doing this arc/shows concerning Red John. They find out that the cohorts of Red John all have these small marks identifying them. All of the sudden all these people walk in saying that they are FBI and not one person says a word or asks to check if they have the mark. How does Lisbon and the crew know that these people are the FBI or Red John's cohorts. This is just stupid writing. A lot of people will say that it's what the writers needed to do to bring along the story but that's just BULL. It seems like there isn't anyone associated with this show that knows the history. It's like Criminal Minds, changing the show's history just to do an episode they want.

The Blacklist: Redemption: Whitehall
(2017)
Episode 7, Season 1

Thank Goodness
When this show was first on I couldn't watch it. I love the Blacklist since it started and was expecting something just as good. I even thought of buying the season set. THANK GOODNESS I found it on a streaming network before I bought it. Cutting off a series without an ending should be a criminal offense. I now will make sure that there is an ending before I purchase the season DVD's. The show was very entertaining but as with a lot of other shows the "Powers that Be" canceled it. I am just waiting for the "New" shows start getting rebooted based on these good shows that were canceled. Now that would be entertaining.

Criminal Minds: The Hunt
(2015)
Episode 23, Season 10

Thank goodness it's over
I just obtained the season 10 DVD collection. Again with the addition of a new character. Instead of a gentle introduction, it somehow feels like the Kate Callahan character is being shoved down our throats. Almost every episode is about her. Between Jeanne Tripplehorn's character Alex Blake and Jennifer Love Hewitt's Kate Callahan, the last three seasons were nothing to write home about. I really thought about not watching this show and half the time I waited for the reruns if there were something more interesting on. It just shows that the writers were getting tired and in essence were just phoning in the job.

JAG: People v. Mac
(1998)
Episode 9, Season 4

One Really Stupid Woman!!!!!!!
I'll already say it, this contains spoilers.

When Mac was first on the show, I thought that finally a female character that was smart and good looking. It is getting so that from episode to episode her opinions flip back and forth. This one tops the cake. She admits that she didn't love him. She gets married while drunk, stays married, husband gets thrown into prison (any judge would have given her a divorce then and there). She never gets a divorce. Has an affair with her commanding officer knowing it was against regulations. When husband comes back, she doesn't file for a divorce or an annulement. Then she keeps seeing him. If I needed a lawyer, she would be the last one I would hire.

The Blacklist: Eva Mason (No. 181)
(2022)
Episode 14, Season 9

Boring and inaccurate
Been watching since the start and the content has been getting stale. Writers need to fact check things before they write about them, one example is the medication gun. The US military was using a similar device back in the late 1960's. I remember seeing pictures of my brothers getting immunizations with them when they were in boot camp.

Women's Murder Club
(2007)

Nothing like the books
I have read all the books and the only thing about this show and the books is the title, if the show followed the books closer it would have been better. Believe me the books are are 1000% better than this show.

Castle: Hong Kong Hustle
(2015)
Episode 17, Season 7

Getting old
Show is starting to repeat stories and themes. Characters are not consistent, like they are changing backstories. The only one that doesn't change is Castle. The things that Castle comes up with shows that he doesn't know about the authors he talks about, (James Patterson writes more books because he writes with other authors)

Castle: Tick, Tick, Tick...
(2010)
Episode 17, Season 2

Not just this series or this show.
Don't know about anyone else but I can't figure out how the female police catch anyone wearing three inch heels, with their shirts unbuttoned half way to their belly buttons. Most of the cop shows on these days have their female officers dressed like this. I have tried, you can't run in three inch heels.

The Blacklist: The Kazanjian Brothers (No. 156/157)
(2020)
Episode 19, Season 7

So Tired
All you hear from Liz is how tired she is because Katarina and Red treat her like a mushroom (keeping her in the dark and feeding her a lot of crap.) What she needs to do is put her foot down, say enough and walk away. The only reason she's in the middle is because she lets them put her there.

Battlestar Galactica: Daybreak: Part 3
(2009)
Episode 21, Season 4

A Rose by any other name----- review of the series
I have watched every episode. This series could have been called anything There is nothing about this series like the original except the title. I think it was called "Battlestar Galactica" to entice original fans to watch it. While it is a fairly good piece of work, it is a title ripoff. As the series went on the writing became uneven, overtly religious and preachy. Watchable but nothing to do a happy-happy-joy dance over.

Women's Murder Club: Welcome to the Club
(2007)
Episode 1, Season 1

HO HUM
Same old female murder cop show, They should have followed the books, they are much bette.r

Michael Landon, the Father I Knew
(1999)

COVID19 Made me watch this crap.
Whiny movie, made by a spoiled child influenced from the bitter point of view of his mother. When I started watching it, I figured okay, maybe the son has a right to complain but the ex-wife shouldn't have expressed her feeling so strongly on her children. Michael, Jr was given advantages but did not take them, he expected to be handed everything on a silver platter. Lynn Landon did the same thing that Cindy Landon did. What she should have thought of was the fact that Michael Landon was married with children when she broke up his marriage to his first wife Dodie. There was no one to confirm that Lynn apologized to Dodie. The only information Michael, Jr had was from his mother and the tabloids. Yes, going through a divorce is horrendous but there is always three sides to it, the wife's side. the husband's side and the real side that falls somewhere in between.

Criminal Minds: Ghost
(2020)
Episode 5, Season 15

Can't keep the story straight.
Does the writers even watch or read previous stories? If you have been a faithful watcher of this series then you know that in the episode LDSK, the police officer Scott McCarty was an insubordinate smart ass who didn't like women in charge. At the time he was killed he was being punished, being made to being closed up in the trunk of a car. He also leaked information to the press. Not what I would call a dedicated police officer.

Hawaii Five-0: E ho'i na keiki oki uaua o na pali
(2020)
Episode 19, Season 10

THANK GOD
After watching this ( and a lot of the other so called 'cop shows') all I can say is 'THANK GOD' people don't have to depend on these 'cops' to protect and serve. When they shoot at a criminal, most times they can't hit the broad side of a barn, even with a full automatic weapon. My 94 year old Granny can shoot better than these guys.

Criminal Minds
(2005)

Do they even watch their own show?
In the episode this is based on, Scott McCarty was a screw-up in the LDSK episode. He was being 'punished' when he was shot. Loud mouthed, popping off with insults and bad jokes during the briefings and phoning reporters giving out information but in this one he's a dedicated and honored police officer? NOT hardly. Just to make sure, I was not getting this wrong I pulled out my DVD and watched it again. YOU NEED TO TRY HARDER>

NCIS: New Orleans: Matthew 5:9
(2019)
Episode 6, Season 6

REALLY
The past two seasons episodes have gone way out in left field with all the hoodoo. The show runners seem like they want the show to tank. Gary Glasberg would have kept it in line, it's started going down hill after he died. The only thing done right is someone on the show knows what a dying/dead body looks like. LaSalle actually looked like he was dead. Much like this show.

Criminal Minds: Protection
(2015)
Episode 22, Season 10

DISAPPOINTED
I missed a lot of Criminal Minds episodes so I started buying the season DVD sets. I have just finished the tenth season. Sorry but I am disappointed. The established characters seem tired. The new character, Kate Callahan was a lot like two day old leftover pizza, OK but if there is something else available I'll take that. Don't know why just the feeling I get from her. She didn't seem to fit in with the rest of the team.

NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service: Bears and Cubs
(2019)
Episode 16, Season 16

OH REALLY
The whole idea of this story is stupid. Not only would Palmer lose his job, he would lose his medical license and go to jail. His father-in law would lose his company, his license and go to jail. A better way to get rid of the body would be for the father-in-law to cremate the body. This is totally out of character for Palmer, he would not betray Gibbs or Duckie.

NCIS: Los Angeles: One of Us
(2018)
Episode 7, Season 10

Shooting lessons and this goes for all shows
At the end Sam shoots Aguilar in the chest. He is suppose to be a Navy Seal and he can't shoot for spit. All of these cop shows are the same, most times they have automatic weapons and can't hit the broad side of a barn. My granny at a 102 could shoot better than these people.

Criminal Minds: Derailed
(2005)
Episode 9, Season 1

So wrong but funny
When Teddy tells Gideon that he is tired and it ends today. JJ asks what that means, Gideon says that Teddy is going to kill himself and then the hostages. Really not possible.

Criminal Minds: Luke
(2018)
Episode 6, Season 14

REALLY?
The writers really need to think before they put crap on paper. How can a person be shot in the back of the head with a forty caliber pistol and not mess up the victims face? Need to actually go to a target range and see the hole it makes. Exit wounds are a lot bigger than the entrance wounds. Yeah, I know, it's hard to get censor approval but really?

NCIS: New Orleans: Pound of Flesh
(2018)
Episode 6, Season 5

too many changes and off the wall plots
Viewers are hit by too many off the wall changes. Don't like that Pride was promoted and is still running the NCIS office. In real life this wouldn't happen, either he is running the NCIS office or doing the job he is suppose to do, makes the story lines disjointed. The doctor treating him wouldn't keep him on the job if he is suffering from PTSD, It would make him dangerous to work with.

NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service: Dog Tags
(2008)
Episode 13, Season 5

inconsistent Abby
In the episode Corporal Punishment, Abby is ready to hang Damon Werth for attacking Tony, Ziva and Tim but she gets more angry at Tim for shooting a dog that was attacking him. Most times Abby has empathy for everyone but in the 4th and 5th seasons she bounces all over the place between one extreme to another. It's like the writers know nothing about the characters they are writing for.
