Qala
(2022)

Chal jhoothii.........
After a very long time Bollywood has created a melodious cinematic experience. Anvita Dutt has a delivered another gem after bulbul and Laila majnu. Once again classical music and beautiful lyrics reminds us of the old times when Indian Cinema was superior to the west in those terms.

Babil Khan has done excellent work.

Camera work was also masterclass, reminds us of Kagaj ke phool.

Every songs touches the heart.

Be it a live performance for 'aisi Marni Jo mare', 'ghode pe sawar'.. the famous classical 'udd jayega ' and others. Also in the song 'bikharne ka mujhko shaowk hai bada' when mother stopped protagonist and let Babil Khan continue, it really feels.

Hats off to all the team.

Overall the moral of the story tells that how a guilt can affect the life of anyone, it past hounds in mind and whispers in the ear 'chal jhoothii'.

Only cons is the slow moving story line with guilt and sadness. Obviously not recommended for rom com based viewers.

Memories
(2013)

Masterpiece from J Joseph
You may have seen a lot of movies where an ex cop is asked to solve a case, but mind you this one is different. The major difference is Jeethu Joseph. Memories is a very intense crime thriller drama having excellent performance by Prithviraj.

Acting 8 / 10 Direction 10/10 Screenplay 9/10

Overall a very good movie for the thrill lovers.

Ezra
(2017)

New definition to Horror movies
Greate experience. Really a new concept of horror movie. The essential element for every good horror movie is a grippy story line, which Ezra has. Prithviraj is really a versatile actor. He has performed up to his potential. Melodious music is also a plus point for the movie. That's the reason why Bollywood is already heading to remake the movie, as they always do, instead of making a really good movie.

Overall a must watch for lovers of good horror movie.

Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru
(2016)

Exceptional
This is one of the best thriller movie that I have ever seen. It has a best way of storytelling. Karthick naren has set an example for the other Indian film industry. Bollywood has not produced such a nail biting thriller in the recent times.

Acting 9/10 Direction 10/10 Editing 9/10 Story 8/10 and the best part Climax 10/10

Overall a must watch for the Thrill lovers.

Kuttrame Thandanai
(2016)

Crime never pays
What I just saw? Murder mystery having an eye witness Who is suffering from a tunnel vision which itself is a rare disease. Sometimes I imagine Why don't the Bollywood film makers make these kinds of movies? Coming back to the movie: It a edge of a seat thriller with a great direction, acting and screenplay. The best part is the climax. I always dislike the movies having incomplete script or which ends with injustice. As the title itself tells that you can never escape from your sins. Overall: A must watch for the thriller lovers. It will attract you right from its casting scenes.

Aftermath
(2017)

Big man in an emotional drama
You rarely see Arnold Schwarzenegger in movies with lesser action scenes. Aftermath was a very intense emotional drama having some masterclass performance by the masterclass. Movie has very good dialogues. Direction is also very good. Overall a must watch for Arnold.

Dunkirk
(2017)

Visually stunning
Watch it in theatre to experience. It has a mind blowing audio visual experience. The storyline was average, didn't had the emotional grip as in Saving Private Ryan. Acting was good. Overall a must watch on the big screen to justify my review.

Baadshaho
(2017)

Disappointed
Even though the movie contains a heavy star cast but failed to impress the audience. Acting - poor Story - average Direction - average

Shaurya: It Takes Courage to Make Right... Right
(2008)

Just Brilliant
This is the first time I am writing a review for any movie. It really was a brilliant work done by the director.

Story line is not really the best feature of this movie but Some marvelous dialogues and exceptional performance by K K Menon makes this movie very special.

For me it was one of the best performances of K. K. Menon as Brigadier Rudra Pratap Singh.

Talking about other aspects, music is really average but not boring. Movies really has very few songs.

Performance of Javed Jaffrey is respectively better than Rahul Bose.

There are certain memorable scene in this movie. Whether we talk about giving respect to a cup of coffee or the last intense court scene.

Some good moments when Menon tells Mishra that "only pigs sweat, men perspire", you will really love those.

When we talk about the last court scene, it could have been any better. I was really amazed see the furious facial expression of Menon. When I saw that scene in the theater I was thinking that how can actor perform in stock a realistic manner.

So my rating to the movie is 9/10.
