Walking with Dinosaurs
(1999)

One of the truly great BBC documentaries.
I grew up with this documentary. It is beyond question one of the greatest dinosaur documentaries ever created. Oh it has some inaccuracies, with some animals being depicted that did not live at the precise time they are depicted in the show. And some facts are now believed to be false due to new discoveries and some other minor inaccuracies as well as taking liberties with assuming behaviors but over all the show is a must see. I have nothing scathing to say about it.

However I am going to disagree with one of the reviewers about the heat pit thing. I've read that scientists think that the heat pits of snakes do produce a 'visual' heat map in the brain.

Hindenburg Disaster: Probable Cause
(2001)

Decent for entertainment
I find their claims about the 'new evidence' suggesting that the inquiries conclusions were wrong to be a bit questionable. They point out fuel leaks and metal fatigue as possible causes. They still do not arrive at definitive answers. So overall this is a good way to pass the time but one should take these conclusions with a grain of salt.

Drain the Titanic
(2015)

Not bad but some very debatable conclusions
The conclusion they made about when the Titanic broke up is tenuous at best. They use the 'relatively' small size of the debris field to theorize that it broke up after going underwater. That doesn't add up. If it had then the stern might have been in better condition and I don't think they would have the great sliding feature in the mud near the stern. Also ocean currents are unpredictable so you can't say for sure whether they would have carried the artifacts far away.

The Accountant of Auschwitz
(2018)

Good documentary but needs more fact checking.
That accountant was guilty, justice is blind. Age is no excuse for crimes. The only question is how do you punish them in a fair way. But I stand firmly on the side of those that seek justice. There are a lot of complexities in bringing a trial about. But at the end of the day you need to punish the guilty, no matter how long it takes. Its the morally right thing to do. I don't want to sound draconian but if you are guilty of crimes against humanity then you are guilty.

Kenny the Shark
(2003)

Cute and Funny more or less
The show was funny but I feel that the parents were a bit to less understanding than they should have been. Like in Season 2 episode 12.

Barbarians Rising
(2016)

Pretty Good Entertainment wise
I often have a problem with how others are rude in reviews........ Its not fun. This docudrama is a docudrama, reviewers need to remember that. No documentary is going to be 100% accurate, as far as we can tell its impossible to be 100% accurate and yet I see lots of reviewers complaining vociferously about historical inaccuracies. I used to indulge in that sort of thing, now however I understand that its not realistic to expect complete historical accuracies. Hannibal being portrayed by an African American is A-Okay by me even though we don't know precisely what skin tone he had. We will probably never know for sure. Seems to me that a lot of viewers had unrealistic expectations. Yes it is biased but lets not forget that much of Roman history was written by Romans, so they were being biased themselves. There were some things they left out and included that made me raise an eyebrow but nothing 'cringeworthy'. The drama is there to show viewers how the characters feel. All the critical viewers seem to be nit-picking. Something that I find annoying these days.

DC Super Hero Girls: #HateTriangle
(2019)
Episode 6, Season 1

Very Good
Very good but I didn't like how Jessica badmouthed Hal so much though in a sense he does deserve it. And I didn't like how Jess refused to give credit to the idea that her pacifism might not always work. Nor did I like how she used Garth to make Hal look 'unattractive'. I also don't like how they omitted the fact that there are times when its perfectly ok to break up over text.

DC Super Hero Girls: #RageCat
(2019)
Episode 27, Season 1

Very Good
It was a pretty funny episode but they didn't flesh out the Dex-Starr's backstory enough to explain his bad behavior although it was enjoyable to watch. Again it shows that Jessica Cruz has a lot to learn about life.

DC Super Hero Girls
(2019)

Not half bad
Not half bad at all. Pretty entertaining actually. Much better than that atrocity Teen Titans Go. This is more my idea of a childishly hilarious show. Its not perfect but its pretty good.

72 Dangerous Animals: Latin America
(2017)

Enjoyable and educational but with a grain of salt.
Fairly decent but there is a certain amount of sensationalism to this show. Like putting so much emphasis on vampire bats which honestly aren't too big a threat. You can interact with those bats and not be bitten. And the claim that Chagas Disease isn't curable is wrong too.

Underworld: Blood Wars
(2016)

An atrocitious let down
The film's plot was terrible not to mention how they 'killed' Michael. Ridiculous. Foerrester has potential but she made a terrible mess of the plot of the fifth film. The supposed death of Michael was the worst flaw of the film. A travesty and a betrayal of those of us who really enjoyed Michael Corvin. The effects were excellent and the idea of a new Coven untouched by Kraven and Viktor is a good one but those do not even begin to make up for the blunders in the plot.

Adventures of Petey and Friends
(2016)

Not too bad but not excellent.
I didn't how they decrided Petey a monster and a coward for his mistake.........

Gon
(2012)

I can't figure some of the characters out.
Gon acts like a bully a lot and that little bear Kumerin cries too much. But I do love the episodes that feature the skunks Fuuro and Kunka. Hilarious. Though honestly some of the characters do deserve a little beat down.

Tarzan and Jane
(2017)

Good New Take
This is an interesting take on Tarzan. Though I'm a little disappointed at the few moments of Tarzan and Jane tenderness. I hope they will get together if the series continues. Its an imaginative take and I say to give it a chance.

2010: Moby Dick
(2010)

Thrilling monster scenes, bad plotline.
Its a thrilling movie but the CGI is bad and makes no sense. It also makes little sense to me that the female lead couldn't refuse to help the mad Ahab.
