Interview with the Vampire
(2022)

Better than I thought it would be
As a fan of the books and the movie. I thought I would hate this but gave it a go because of the title. I'm glad I did. I wish they had come up with a new character in place of Louis (he is nothing like the books).

The acting was excellent & the story was good with a lines taken straight out of the movie (I think this might be set up as a sequel to the movie).

The sets & costumes were great. I personally think there was a lot of respect to the books while still making it their own.

If you like vampires & this is your first introduction to Ann Rices work then I think you will enjoy this series. If you are a long time fan and can treat this as a new interpretation (after all, how many versions of Dracula are there?) you could enjoy this series as well.

I look forward to series two.

L.A.'s Finest
(2019)

Not great but Jessica
I love Jessica Alba. I could watch her kick ass all day. She could kick my ass and I'd smile while she did it. Her character, Nancy is great too but Gabrielles character, Sydney is way over the top. It just doesn't work. Apparently this is a comedy. I didn't laugh once. I guess this show just isn't for me. Probably give it a couple more episodes.

Star Trek: Voyager
(1995)

Great Star Trek Show
I really enjoyed Voyager despite the continuity issues. The variety of stories and species kept things interesting. The only problem I have with the show is Captain Janeway. She was too Mary Sue. She always had the right answer, always knew more about systems and situations than the experts always appearing to handle any situations. She needed to make mistakes and be more human. Granted I am only starting series five so things might change. I can only hope.

Bram Stoker's Dracula
(1992)

Love Song
I love this movie. I'm not sure what other see but I see myself in Vlads perspective. The one love of my life betrayed me & I have never gotten over her. I am the monster that breathing man would kill. I am DRACULA.

Harley Quinn
(2019)

My god this is good. (and not in a religious way)
This is damned funny. I haven't laughed this much in ages. Just binge watched the first 4 episodes and I didn't want it to end. Keep em coming.

Extraction
(2015)

Reasonable action movie.
Not a bad movie. Yes it is predictable and yes the acting is mediocre but I don't really watch action movies for Oscar winning performances. There were some fails in logic that are annoying, such as the fight scene at the club, but I just gritted my teeth & got passed it. Check it out for some cheap entertainment without high expectations.

12 Rounds 3: Lockdown
(2015)

Great bit of entertainment
I know it isn't original but it is still a good watch if you can ignore the plot holes. The biggest of which is ballistics. All the bodies are full of the bad guys bullets. A bit hard explaining that away. Ambrose did an excellent job on his first time out as an actor (not including WWE) & I can't wait to see him in a Marine movie (it's gonna happen surely). If you want a mindless escape I recommend this movie.

Enterprise: In a Mirror, Darkly
(2005)
Episode 18, Season 4

Love this episode
Any episode where Linda Park gets all sexy is a good episode.

Forever Knight
(1992)

Great show. Typical 90s
I loved the show but I couldn't get over the fact Nick wanted to become human. Surely he could redeem himself by saving more people as a Vampire than he could as a human & there are plenty of ways of getting blood without killing. Blood banks, groupies etc.

Legends of Tomorrow: The Good, the Bad and the Cuddly
(2018)
Episode 18, Season 3

Why do I keep watching this crap?
The worst superhero series I have ever seen but I can't stop watching. As for this episode. Isn't Jonah Hexs scar on the left side of his face not the right and the Voltron that they are trying to make would be more like Captain Planet surely I mean come on. Earth, Fire, Wind & water? couldn't be more Planet except Captain Planet was a hell of a better show and the reference to Bruce Lee, I am officially pissed.

Legends of Tomorrow: Freakshow
(2017)
Episode 2, Season 3

Good but...
This is a good distraction but it seems to over play the guys are dumb woman are all powerful card way to much. Especially Sara Lance, I mean how over the top can you get? If that was toned down I would enjoy it a lot more.

The 100
(2014)

PC Overload
This would be so much better if they weren't trying so hard to prove how tough woman are. It feels so forced that it feels like is is the only purpose for the show. Lighten up already. There is nothing to prove. Other than that it is an entertaining watch that can only get better (I hope).
