Boring, disappointing, totally overrated on IMDB
Has the entire film crew opened an account here to give their own film a positive review? One 9/10 review even says that the person was involved in the production of this film! I can not believe that ratings above 5 are real!
And I don't know how this movie was able to win 16 awards! Was there no competition?
The cheap wig of the main actor in the first 15 minutes is representative for the whole movie. The script is a mediocre, the acting performances are below average to horrible, the editing is worse than in student films. I really cannot understand how this movie got so hyped!

The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (2021)
This could have been great...
First of all: I HATE Jump Scares. And here come the jump scares with noise, and it's a lot of noise! It is SO much louder than the rest of the sound in the movie....
You turn up the volume to catch all the quiet dialogue, and the next minute a loud booming noise almost rips your eardrums to shreds!
So you turn the volume down, and the next minute there's dialogue you can't understand because it's way too quiet.... Totally annoying! This volume terror is not necessary at all. Just make a better script and have some better cinematography and this could be a decent movie. This way, it's only 2 out of 10 from me.

Yeah, I know this isn't part of the "True Detective" anthology series, but it would fit in there just perfectly, and it would be the best season so far or at least a tie with season one.

This movie is absolutely predictable, nothing new, nothing original. It feels like I've watched a movie like this at least a hundred times before .... in the 1980s! And they were also NEVER good.
Go watch "Hereditary" if you want to see a horror movie that's done right!

Story line? Ridiculous. (Was this the first script that was written by an AI?)
Acting? Wooden. (Every elementary school play is better.)
F/X? I've seen better videos on YouTube made by hobby film makers!
But if you like a good laugh about a REALLY bad movie, take your favorite OOTWMOAT drink and snack and go for it....
