Dune: Part Two
(2024)

Denis Villeneuve is a modern sorcerer in Sci-Fi!
Dune: Part Two is simply Denis Villeneuve's Magnum Opus in his filmography. I've loved this director's work since "Blade Runner 2049", and "Arrival". He did an excellent job placing his vision on the first Dune, but here, Villeneuve cranks his direction times 10!

The structure, set-up, visuals, sound and story are crafted in ways that are hard for me to put in words, due to how everything came together so miraculously. The acting is also top-notch! Timothée Chalamet in particular is unbelievably phenomenal, and Zendaya does a great job as well. Austin Butler, Rebecca Ferguson and Florence Pugh are also excellent! Denis never lets you out of this experience! The pure weight of the film is presented through astounding narratives, rich cinematography, an epic story and mesmerizing action sequences that will make your seat rumble if you watch this on the big screen!

There are quite a handful of thrilling moments that I still have no idea how they came out THIS good in the end! Denis Villeneuve is truly a sorcerer in the Sci-Fi genre! Every frame and detail in his films are captivating as hell, and it's no different here in the slightest!

Dune: Part Two made me leave the theater feeling inspired! There's so much to take away from this masterpiece! Definitely my #1 favorite movie of this year as of now! Bring on Dune: Part Three as fast as possible!

The Exorcist: Believer
(2023)

It may not be anything new, but it's a solid sequel to a beloved Horror classic, and I'm a bit shocked to hear some of the harsh reactions after my advanced screening.
So, first off, I must say that I'm an enormous fan of The Exorcist (1973). It's in my Top 3 Horror films of all time. Quite literally one of the quintessential titles in tbe genre, so, I was honestly very terrified about this new movie coming out, especially after David Gordon Green's downfall with Halloween Ends. Having seen the movie now, I'm not sure how the general public will feel about this film, and responses I've been seeing have been pretty divisive. With that being said, I thought this movie was very good and was not at all offensive to the original 1973 classic. Specifically, the final 10 minutes of the film were filled with so much adrenaline, and they so something very ballsy in the end!! The movie obviously isn't as good as the original Exorcist, and it was never going to be, but for what the film is, I was genuinely surprised by it. If you have time later this weekend, check out the movie and decide for yourself on what you thought.

The Evil Dead
(1981)

The ultimate Cabin in the woods Zombie flick! One of the bests ever brought to the Horror genre!
The Evil Dead (1981) Review

Director - Sam Raimi

Plot - The Evil Dead revolves around this group of college students who head to an isolated cabin and find a mysterious book, and accidentally release horrific events to occur by these terrifying demons known as "Deadites."

My experience - When I was 14 years-old, it was around the Halloween season and I wanted to catch up on some horror movies I've never seen before and it just so happens that I found The Evil Dead free On Demand and the 2 biggest things that caught my eye was that Sam Raimi directed it (The same man behind the Spider-Man Trilogy) and the unexpected NC-17 rating. I was still a teenager, so I pulled off one of those "I'm going to watch this anyway" tropes, and my Auntie was the only person inside the house with me anyway, and she pretty much trusted me watching hardcore movies, mainly because she knew I really loved horror movies and cinema in general.

From start to finish, The Evil Dead is an exploding experience! This is truly one of my all time favorite Horror movies with great acting, especially by Bruce Campbell, a simplistic, yet grisly story and a STUPID amount of gore. To me, The Evil Dead is one of the goriest movies I've ever had the pleasure of seeing in the horror genre and only a few movies are able to match this kind of gore, with Dead Alive/Braindead being one of them and Cannibal Holocaust being another, The Evil Dead has to be one of the most graphically and disturbing horror movies I've ever seen! Aside from the gore and violence, the practical effects are astounding and are easily some of the greatest highlights of the entire film!

This film also gives us a great introduction to the character of "Ashley," who is later known as "Ash" in future movies and a 2015 TV Series. The dark humor and campiness of this movie also stands out perfectly, and a lot of people love this film for that, including myself, and not long after its release, it was clear to audiences that The Evil Dead would later become a cult phenomenon! Sam Raimi delivers some really clever shots in this film, while others may be out of focus at times, I have to give him credit for the shots he was able to make surprisingly well done! Sam Raimi really shows a lot of love with this film, especially with how he directs his actors and the way the Deadites themselves move around and attack people, it's very well done!

The stunts in this movie are another thing I have to give praise to, because I'm pretty sure the 2 hardest things were to get the practical effects right and accomplish good stunts, while trying not to injure any of the actors. The Evil Dead is a movie that I adore, it's for sure one of my all time favorite horror movies and movies in general and it's a film that has stayed influential and revolutionary ever since its initial release. My only minor problem with the film are a few of the out of focus shots, but it doesn't truly hurt the film in any way, like I said, it's just minor.

Dawn of the Dead
(1978)

Simply one of Horror's greatest films! Up there in the Top 5 best Zombie movies of all time!
Dawn of The Dead (1978) Review

Director - George A. Romero

Plot - Two Philadelphia S.W.A.T. team members, a traffic reporter, along with his girlfriend take coverage in a shopping mall, while zombies haven risen from the dead and are out everywhere during an ever-growing epidemic.

My experience - Like I said in my review of "Night of The Living Dead," that was the film that opened the gates for our modern zombie subgenre in Horror, which is why it's basically the grandfather of that subgenre! Dawn of The Dead is easily the grandmother of the zombie subgenre! Night of The Living Dead started the zombie subgenre, and Dawn of The Dead basically boosted it up a lot more! George A. Romero once again is a master Horror Director behind the camera, and while watching Dawn of The Dead, you can definitely see the different tone and atmosphere that Romero went for in both films. Where in Night of The Living Dead, he achieved suspense and tension, in Dawn of The Dead, he achieves suspense and action, and for these reasons, Dawn of The Dead is fucking awesome!!!!

Dawn of The Dead throws you into the eye of a thrill ride that constantly moves forward and gets so much better with every viewing! The performances are excellent, the soundtrack is miraculous, the action sequences are enthralling, the practical effects and the make up have improved a ton since Night of The Living Dead, Dawn of The Dead gets everything right as a Horror film and as a film in general, which makes it stand out as one of the greatest zombie flicks of all time!

The entire movie takes place in this mall with our main heroes and at first glance, that may sound uninteresting, but the characters, the elements, the action sequences, the soundtrack and the zombie effects as a whole are what keep you pinned to your seat, and the entire movie is an absolute blast for these reasons! Ken Foree is excellent in this film! In my opinion, he's the best part of the entire film and he and Scott H. Reindeer, David Eugene and the other actors really have a lot of work to do in this film, and they all do a phenomenal job!

Like I said before, the practical effects look absolutely astounding! You can definitely notice that George A. Romero boosted the graphic content of you look back at Night of The Living Dead in 1968, Dawn of The Dead is even way more gorier and violent, and when you throw the action into it, it's definitely not hard to see why Dawn is way more violent! Dawn of The Dead also contains one of my all time favorite scores/soundtracks in Horror history! The music delivers such a 70s bop and creepy vibe to it, and it really gives you an idea of what type of film you're about to witness!

The opening of the film is also very suspenseful and exciting, where you see these news stations out of control and all of this chaos striking while the bodies of the dead are out on the loose, it's very suspenseful! Dawn of The Dead also has some very quotable elements from the film, and that's thanks to George A. Romero and the vibe he delivers to this absolute classic Horror film! I'm just going to start by saying, if you haven't seen Dawn of The Dead by now, what the hell are you doing??? Honestly, let's be real, if Dawn along with Night of The Living Dead never existed, we wouldn't even know what "The Walking Dead," or "The Evil Dead," or "The Cabin in The Woods," or even "28 Days Later" was! So, if you've never seen Dawn of The Dead, get on it!

Honestly though, what more do I have to say about Dawn of The Dead? It's a masterpiece! It has incredible action sequences, along with make up effects, the music, phenomenal acting and absolutely out of this world elements that have influenced so many Horror fanatics for many decades! Mr. Romero, you are a master and your work will forever live on and stand the test of time in Horror!

Grade - 10/10

Meta Runner
(2018)

Spectacular! I'm so proud on how far both Kevin and Luke came to reach these giant steps into success!
I love SMG4, it's easily my favorite channel on the internet, but when Kevin and Luke's new series "Meta Runner" was announced back in 2018, I instantly went on board with the hype, considering their new character they introduced to SMG4 at that time, "Tari." This guy has never disappointed me before! His content has always made me laugh, cry and all around make me feel so happy inside! That being said, Meta Runner is an excellent show! There's so much to get into and the characters and the stories in each episode of Season 1 are so well written! The animation is easily some of the best I've seen in a YouTube web-series! The concept revolving around a world of gaming is something we've never seen before and the show is able to create very clever elements on how the world, "Silica City" works. The voice acting is phenomenal and like I said, the characters really do keep this show constantly moving forward! Tari, Theo, Masa, Sophia, Lamar, and I also really enjoyed the 2 antagonists Belle and Lucks, who are a part of a gaming company known as "TasCorp." Meta Runner is an excellent series so far and I have not been more excited for a coming Season of a show in a long time! I will definitely be there for Season 2s very 1st episode!!! Grade - 9.5/10

SuperMarioGlitchy4: SMG4 Movie: Meggy's Destiny
(2020)
Episode 51, Season 10

Absolutely mindblowing! This channel has come so far!
Meggy's Destiny follows Meggy, Mario, Luigi and Tari in the Splatsquad team in the final Splatfest ever and the most important one, because Meggy has made a promise to win the splatfest for the death of her rival, Desti. As a person who has been a part of this channel since 2014, SMG4 has always made me laugh, cry and put a gigantic smile on my face and it is currently my favorite channel on the internet. Meggy's Destiny is by far the best thing Luke and Kevin have made on this entire channel. This film is so action packed, fast moving and extremely emotional. If you don't at least shed a tear in the ending of this movie, you don't have a soul. I've been a part this channel for a while, so I've already had a big connection with all of the characters, Mario, Luigi, SMG4, Fishy Boopkins, Meggy, Bob, Saiko, Axol etc. I even have a wide connection with side SMG4 characters, SMG3, Yoshi, Enzo, Wario, Waluigi etc. But aside from everything else, I absolutely LOVED Meggy's Destiny! This film was so edge grabbing and extremely fun to see Meggy reach for her dream with the help of the cast members. Meggy's Destiny helped give SMG4 a brighter name on YouTube and it's definitely one of the better YT channels for modern YouTube audiences. Highly recommend Meggy's Destiny!

Sonic the Hedgehog
(2020)

Really enjoyed it, especially as a Sonic fan! Best video game film so far!
Let me explain my background on this character before jumping into this review, I am an early 2000s person who grew up playing, watching and all around loving Sonic The Hedgehog, so I was really sceptical when I heard this movie was first announced, especially when the original film design was leaked around 7 months ago. However, Paramount fixed Sonic's design and brought light and hope to the film. I walked into this film hoping that it would be a good video game adaptation and it really surprised me from start to finish. This is by far the best movie adaptated from a video game. James Marsden does a really good job as this cop named "Tom Wachowski," and I also really liked Ben Schwartz voicing Sonic, and their chemistry and friendship was one of the highlights in the film that I thought were portrayed really well. I can't finish this review if I don't mention my background on Jim Carrey. I've loved this actor for years and he really knocked his performance out of the park and I really thought he was a perfect fit for Dr. Robotnik. The comedy was also surprisingly decent and sometimes goes off as cheesy and silly, but you can tell that Jeff Fowler knows the background and the universe of this beloved iconic video game character and his vision and direction brought a lot of love and care into this film. If any of you go to check this film out, stay for the 2 post credit scenes. Without spoiling anything, they tease a possible sequel, and you may fall in love if you're a Sonic fan like I am. I had a blast with Sonic The Hedgehog and I was pleasantly surprised on how good it was. If you're not a Sonic fan or you don't even know the franchise very well, I recommend that you don't even see this movie, cause it would just waste your time, but if you are a fan, you might actually love this one!

The Super Mario Bros. Show
(2017)

This guy IS a Mario fan!
Let me just start off by saying that this is ONLY a YouTube/Internet series that os currently on a channel called "mariofan 520," which recently switched to "Eli B's Movie Reviews." Elijah Butler really did a great job with making his own fan made show and vision of one of the most iconic video game characters of all time. This series only has 40 episodes (with the series finale having 5 in one episode), but they're all funny, exciting, emotional and it's Mario! The show was made with figurines, some animation and some other stuff, but this short fan series is a blast to watch!

2001: A Space Odyssey
(1968)

A True Cinematic Masterpiece by a Master Director!
2001: A Space Odyssey is among one of the GREATEST sci-fi movies of all time and has remained a masterpiece for many decades and for so many reasons! This film has so many mind-blowing visuals, fantastic classical music, phenomenally hidden themes, masterful direction and great storytelling. Directors like Stanley Kubrick have a special place in the history of filmmaking. Kubrick is one of the VERY few directors that delivers an extremely unique presence to ALL of his films with his direction and he also knows what his audience wants out of filmmaking and I absolutely LOVE that! Even if you watch 2001 by 1st viewing and even if you don't fully understand the film, it's SOO unforgettable to step away from and it's due to unforgettable direction, plot, music and breathtakingly GORGEOUS visuals and of course the Apollo moon landing! 2001 also captures an amazing and stunning feel of mankind interfering with something that's unknown and very fascinating and we've had so many films that have portrayed 2001: A Space Odyssey and NONE of them have been able to top this film. One thing that's very interesting about Stanley Kubrick is that he will show you AMAZING and FASCINATING images in all of his films and they absolutely keep you in on edge and focused and that's because all of Kubrick's films have a feel of "realism" and 2001: A Space Odyssey is a perfect execution! The Shining, A Clockwork Orange, Full Metal Jacket and Dr. Strangelove along with all of Kubrick's other films have MANY things that make you follow along with their stories and messages and visuals and elements and that's what makes Stanley Kubrick a Master in cinema history! As a person who LOVES cinema and is a nerd when it comes to film, I'm gonna be completely honest when I say that "In my mind, 2001: A Space Odyssey is the BEST directed movie I've ever seen!" 2001: A Space Odyssey is a film that has stood the test of time HIGHLY successfully with many mind-blowing and unforgettable elements that makes this film a TRUE masterpiece! 2001: A Space Odyssey gets a 10/10!

Teen Titans Go! To the Movies
(2018)

A pleasant surprise, and this is coming from a person who doesn't much care for Teen Titans Go!
When I first heard that they were making a movie of Teen Titans Go, I didn't have any expectations for this movie AT ALL, considering that I'm not a fan of Teen Titans Go! However, I decided to take my little sister to the movies today and watch this film and I gotta say that this movie surprised me quite a bit! I thought this was way better than the actual Titans Go series and I was really having fun with this movie! The humor in this film isn't just for kids as well. Sure, there are a bunch of poop and fart jokes, but there are many things for adults to enjoy in this movie as well and for that, this movie was a plus! I also love how this movie was able to get away with referencing other DC movies and even some from other superhero universes and I found that really funny and it was also clever! The flaws that I had with this movie are simple. I think that when some musical numbers or poop and fart jokes happen, it takes away from the core of the story and I did honestly think some of the songs were catchy and enjoyable, but I thought there was a little too much of the poop and fart jokes. Overall, Teen Titans Go to the movies surprised me and it's not gonna be one of the best action movies of the year or become a masterpiece, but it is really enjoyable and I'm gonna give it an 8.5/10!

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom
(2018)

As a HUGE Jurassic Park fan, I liked this movie honestly!
Now listen up, before I talk about Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, I just wanna say that I am a HUUUUUUGE Jurassic Park fan and I honestly didn't want to get too excited about Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and after seeing it I thought that it was pretty fun. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom was a fun enough sequel, but in my opinion it is not as good as the classic Jurassic Park, The Lost World or Jurassic World, but I thought it was way better than Jurassic Park 3! There were a lot of elements of Fallen Kingdom that I appreciated and others that I didn't appreciate and most of that has to do with the 2nd act of the movie and the characters. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are good in this movie and honestly Bryce Dallas Howard has a lot more things to do in this film! I could've lived without some of the new characters they decided to throw into the film, but they were fun enough and some of them were useful and others were just there to be a comedic coward, but the villains.....WOAH let me tell ya about the villains in this movie! Not good, at all and they honestly feel almost like cartoonish villains in a PG-13 movie. However, I thought the Indoraptor was pretty cool and a little better than the Indominus. I liked how the film didn't go to overboard with showing the genetic hybrid that much and only showed in the scenes that it should be in. And I also like how the film's called "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom," because there are elements of this movie that give this movie the perfect title and I'm not spoiling any of these elements! And in my opinion, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is not going to be for every Jurassic Park fan or even everyone in general. Because of the choices the creators made in this film and the direction by J.A. Bayona, this film is it's own story that knows it's not similar to the other Jurassic Park movies, so there will be a mix between a lot of people who love this movie and a lot of people who hate this movie. I personally enjoyed Fallen Kingdom and I can't wait to see it again and I actually would recommend watching it, even if you think it might be bad, because I think that EVERY movie deserves a chance to be seen by audiences before its judged. I'm gonna give Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom an 8/10!

Alien
(1979)

One of the GREATEST movies of all time!
I remember when I first saw Alien as a teenager. This movie scared me to the core and it's STILL scary and very suspenseful to this very day! I love movies from all genres and horror is one of my favorite genres in cinema history and when it comes to horror movies, Alien is DEFINITELY one of the greatest ones of all time! Ridley Scott's direction in Alien has a HIGHLY suspenseful feel throughout the entire film and it somewhat makes you feel disturbed and uncomfortable and that's one of the reasons why this film is so iconic! Sigourney Weaver as Ripley takes this ENTIRE film from opening to finish! She was EXCELLENT in this film and this is definitely one of the greatest roles I've seen in ANY movie which makes this one of the greatest roles in cinema history! All of the other characters such as Brett, Parker, Kane, Dallas, Ash and Lambert played by Harry Dean Stanton, Yaphet Kotto, John Hurt, Tom Skerritt, Ian Holm, and Veronica Cartwright were really interesting and engaging characters throughout the entire run time of the film and the acting in Alien is ABSOLUTELY mind-blowing which was another reason on why this movie is insanely scary! Now let's talk about the creature in Alien known as The Xenomorph, this thing is just.................ABSOLUTELY TERRIFYING AND AWESOME! The Xenomorph has to be one of the scariest things I've ever seen in ANY movie in my entire life! Ridley Scott also decided to not show this creature for the majority of the film which was a little more terrifying, because you never really expect or know when this thing is going to come or what it's going to do to the crew or what the creature looks like when you first watch Alien and it is just GENIUS AND FANTASTIC SUSPENSE FILM-MAKING! Something else that I also love about Alien is of course the iconic chest burst scene! Most of you who have seen Alien know what I'm talking about, but when they were shooting the chest burst scene, the actors were 100% unaware of what was going to come out of John Hurt's chest so when the Xenomorph burst out of his chest, their reactions were legit and real and that's just so awesome! This movie also holds one of the GREATEST jumpscares in cinema history when Dallas is in the air shafts and out of NOWHERE he runs into the Xenomorph and you don't actually see him die by it, but you see it appear and you just hear this EXTREMELY LOUD screeching sound and static sounds in the background and every time I watch this movie, that jumpscare STILL sends chills down my spine and it's a jumpscare done right! There's also something else I absolutely love about Alien when the crew finds out that Ash was a robot that was sent by the company to send this life form back to earth and it is a VERY clever twist that was HIGHLY unexpected and it's all done by the genius mind of Scott and the tension he brings in this film! Alien is one of my all time favorite movies and it has stood the test of time VERY SUCCESSFULLY and it has inspired many film-makers and it will continue to do that, because it's a timeless masterpiece and a classic film and Alien DEFINITELY gets a 10/10!

Candyman
(1992)

An underrated horror classic!
When you think of slasher movies, the first things that pop into your head are movies like Halloween, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th and from there there have been many other slasher films. Candyman is a very well written as well as well directed horror film that doesn't really deserve to be SO underrated in the horror genre! Candyman is an interesting slasher himself as well and the reason why he exists is because people believe in him which makes this film lead to a very strong story with solid acting and engaging characters. Virginia Madsen as Helen Lyle was very good in this film. Her character was very engaged with the myth of the Candyman and she was a very likable character who wanted to know more about the legend of Candyman. Tony Todd takes this entire film as Candyman! He did a FANTASTIC job in this film and there were moments where I actually found his character very creepy and disturbing. The back story of Candyman is also very well written and I'm gonna talk about it without spoiling anything, but his back story really hooks you and actually almost makes you feel bad for this man. Now Candyman is not one of the greatest slashers of all time, but it's a horror film that does NOT deserve to be criminally underrated in the genre of horror! The acting in this film is mostly solid, the characters are good and the story is very clever and if you are a fan of horror movies and you want to check out some very underrated horror movies, Candyman is the movie for you! Candyman is a very well written and directed horror movie that deserves to be treated as a classic and should be seen by almost EVERY fan of horror! I'm gonna give Candyman an 8/10.

Zootopia
(2016)

One of the BEST Disney films I've seen in a while!
When I first heard about this movie back in late 2015, I was kind of interested in seeing it in 2016. I knew NOTHING and I mean nothing about what this movie was going to be about! I stayed away from some trailers and I wanted to experience this movie myself and I was ABSOLUTELY touched by this movie! Zootopia is a fantastic film that has breath taking animation, AMAZING characters and a very clever story! I absolutely LOVE this movie! I love Judy Hoops and Nick Wilde who are both played by Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman! These are a great example of characters in animated movies! These two characters weren't your average Dreamworks movie characters, these characters were VERY well written and very mature! I also loved Idris Elba as Chief Bogo. His character was also very well written and mature. In fact, this entire movie brings great and mature messages for both kids and adults! Certain things that happen in Zootopia deal with everyday crimes, segregation and racism, even some signs of drug use in this film! Yeah and I mentioned that this was a Disney movie! Zootopia is not only a Disney film that kids can enjoy, the entire family will have a blast watching this movie and to be honest, adults might enjoy this film more than the kids! Zootopia surprised every single body part inside of me and this is definitely a film that will become a Disney masterpiece and a classic as time goes on and a film that EVERYONE can watch and have fun with and i'm gonna give Zootopia a 10/10!

The Birds
(1963)

One of the scariest movies I've ever seen and one of Hitchcock's greatest!
When it comes to horror movies, I love the genre and I don't usually get scared of horror movies, but MY GOD this was a TERRIFYING experience as a kid! Alfred Hitchcock, the master and the one and only master of suspense and horror has brought us many films and his most memorable and iconic films are Psycho and this film. The Birds is definitely one of the scariest movies I've ever seen and I think some reasons for that are that Alfred Hitchcock takes the suspense in this movie very dark if he needs to in certain scenes. There was also no composed score or music in this film which actually made the film feel a little realistic and it STILL terrifies me today! The acting in this film is top notch and the story is pretty solid and I thought some of the characters such as Melanie played by Tippi Hedren and Mitch Brenner played by Rod Taylor were really fleshed out throughout the majority of the film. But for me, the scariest thing about this film is that you don't know why these birds are attacking people. It's just the sense of horror that you feel in these birds when you see them hurting and killing people and it is absolutely TERRIFYING! The mystery behind this film on why these birds are going insane for no reason is absolutely frightening to watch and this has to be one of the greatest horror movies I've seen in a while and it's definitely one of the scariest movies, especially if it's made by a true legend of the genre. I love The Birds. The atmosphere of the film is disturbing and creepy and the movie itself is very scary and it's one of my all time favorite horror classics and i'm gonna give The Birds a 10/10.

A Nightmare on Elm Street
(1984)

One of my all time favorite Horror movies!
Before the 80s, horror movies were very dark and original and they each had their own concepts and sub genres in horror. But when this movie came out, that changed EVERYTHING! Wes Craven has created one of the most iconic slashers in all movie history, ''Freddy Krueger'' played by the legendary Robert Englund and he is STILL known as one of the greatest to this day! This is a horror movie that knew what it was! It had likable characters, a VERY clever plot, great acting, and a very scary villain! I would actually consider A Nightmare on Elm Street the greatest slasher movie since Halloween! Nancy played by Heather Langenkamp was very good in this movie! I thought her character was very strong and was actually one of the few people in this movie who was ACTUALLY concerned about all these nightmares her and her friends are experiencing. Johnny Depp was also very good in this movie, considering that this was his FIRST movie he ever made, which lead him to a big career in the future and all of the other actors were good in this movie as well. A Nightmare on Elm Street REALLY surprised me when I watched it for the 1st time and as a horror fan, this is DEFINITELY one of my all time favorites! And as a low budget horror movie, this movie STILL works to this day! Some of the certain effects they used to make Freddy come to life in this film were very intense and scary and are still scary today! Wes Craven's A Nightmare on Elm Street is definitely a must watch for any horror fan and it is definitely a living masterpiece and of the best of the slashers and horror alone and of course I'm gonna give A Nightmare on Elm Street a 10/10!

SuperMarioGlitchy4
(2011)

YouTube videos just don't get more random and entertaining than this!
I remember when I first watched SMG4 and I instantly fell in love with the channel and I still love it today! This is a GREAT example of a channel that is SO stupid and self-aware of itself that it actually works! When I think of SMG4, I think of it as a masterpiece of ALL randomness and I love every minute and every second of his videos and they just NEVER get old! I do enjoy the audio and dialog in every video and that's what makes SMG4 so funny and hilarious to watch, especially with the meme dialouge and today, the channel is currently at 1.7 million subscribers and it's VERY impressing that a channel with great and random content could get sooooo much attention and SMG4 is definitely one of best YouTube channels I've watched in a long time!

Jaws
(1975)

One of the GREATEST movies of ALL TIME!
If you haven't seen this film yet, there's something wrong with you! I have talked to a lot of my friends and asked them if they have seen Jaws and 90% of my friends said NO! Jaws is a film that has inspired MANY movie makers and is known as the 1st blockbuster film and one of Steven Spielberg's BEST movies! Jaws was released in 1975 and was one of the first movies to make A LOT of money at the Box Office and it became a HUGE success and is STILL a fantastic movie to this day! Roy Scheider as chief Martin Brody is GREAT in this film and his character as well as other actors felt like they were playing as actual real life characters in life! I was also impressed by Richard Dreyfuss and Robert Shaw's performances in this film! All of the characters in the film felt like ACTUAL characters that are dealing with actual problems in life and that's one of the reason's why Jaws still works as a masterpiece! And yes, there are people today that say that the shark in Jaws looks fake. However, to this day the animatronic for the shark STILL works! And the main reason is that Spielberg didn't show the shark for the majority of the film which builds up the scare factor and it makes the experience A LOT more suspenseful and they also used some scenes with ACTUAL shark footage in Australian waters! There are many things that make this movie successful, but I can't do a review of Jaws without mentioning John Williams! His score for Jaws is absolutely beautiful and not just the scenes where the shark appears, but also certain scenes that take place in Jaws and the score brings up the suspense in the film! I am really surprised on the special effects they used in this film and they still hold up well to this day! Jaws is definitely one of the GREATEST movies of all time and it's a masterpiece and a timeless classic and it has stood the test of time VERY successfully and it's a film that EVERYONE has to see at least once and Jaws DEFINITELY gets a 10/10!

The Godfather
(1972)

The Greatest movie I have EVER seen!
I have seen movies from all genres, but NOTHING and no other movie has surprised me more than The Godfather! This movie has EVERYTHING, a great script, unforgettable performances and characters, great acting and a MIND-BLOWING story line! I was really surprised on how serious this movie was made and the effort it took to make this into a successful masterpiece! Marlon Brando's performance in this movie is EXCELLENT! I was really enjoying every minute of his screen time and because of his Italian accent and also because he was a very interesting and likable character. The amount of drama that occurs in the film between the five families is absolutely heartbreaking and mind-blowing due to FANTASTIC performances brought to the film! I also really enjoyed Al Pacino's character known as Michael Corleone! I felt that he had a lot of charisma in almost every scene he was in and he tries to avoid being an idiot character and ends up being another likable character throughout the film! I think this is DEFINITELY a film that everybody should see at least once because it is definitely worth a watch for anyone who LOVES watching movies from any genre including myself. The Godfather is a film that HIGHLY surprised me and it's a classic and a masterpiece in movie history and it will stay as one of the GREATEST movie of all time and it has to be the greatest movie I have ever seen and i'm gonna give The Godfather a 10/10.

The Shining
(1980)

My favorite Horror Movie of ALL TIME!
The Shining is one of those movies that you can watch over and over and over again and it NEVER gets boring, as a matter a fact, it gets better. Film makers such as Stanley Kubrick are geniuses in movie history. All of Kubrick's films have something special, they all have tension and they all feel real. Jack Nicholson's performance is ABSOLUTELY breath taking and this is possibly his BEST performance in his entire career. I also liked Shelley Duvall and I really don't understand why she received a lot of hate and abuse in this film, I thought she was great and I didn't have any problems with her or her character AT ALL! Danny Loyd as Danny Torrance is very mature for a child actor and his character is VERY interesting and Loyd has given one of the BEST child performances of all time! To me, The Shining is like no other Horror movie! I LOVE Horror movies and i'm a BIG fan of the genre from movie categories from slashers to monster movies, found footage, paranormal activity, doll movies, entities, and my favorite category, Psychological. The Shining is a gold star when it comes to horror movies or just movies in GENERAL! This movie is a masterpiece and a classic on so many levels and it's definitely a movie that everyone should see at least once in their life time! The Shining is a movie that has stood the test of time VERY successfully and it's my FAVORITE Horror movie of all time as well as one of my favorite movies of all time and i'm gonna give The Shining an A+

Jurassic World
(2015)

FANTASTIC sequel to a franchise that I absolutely support and LOVE!
I was hyped out of my mind when the first teaser for Jurassic World came out in 2014 and while me being a huge fan of the franchise, I just had to go see this movie with my Mom and my sister. We went a couple weeks after the movie was released and it was possibly the greatest IMAX experience ever! I loved almost every minute and every second of Jurassic World and although it's not as good as the first Jurassic Park, I think it's equal to The Lost World which I also enjoyed. When we ere sitting in the theatre, I was already hyped when the Universal logo popped up on screen and that may tell you that I am a huge fan of the Jurassic Park Franchise and I love all of the movies minus Jurassic Park III which i'm not a huge fan of, but it's ok. And I had a BLAST with Jurassic World and I think the idea of adding the new hybrid The Indominus rex is genius! The story really hooked and caught my attention, the CGI was good enough, but I really think they should've added more animatronics and that would've improved the film because in this movie you will find A LOT of CGI and a very little amount of animatronics. The actors Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard were great! They're not as great as Sam Neil or Laura Dern from the first Jurassic Park, but they still are very good actors who play as very interesting characters known as Owen and Claire and their performances are really good in this film as well as the kids who are played by Nick Robinson and Ty Sympkins. Jurassic World really surprised me! In fact, it surprised everyone in my theatre. After the movie was over and the credits were rolling, the audience was clapping and I have NEVER in my life of any movie theatre experienced that kind of feeling and I felt very happy when I left the theatre. Jurassic World is a great sequel even it does not live up to the original,I respect it for what it is and I'm proud to be a fan of this franchise and i'm gonna give Jurassic World a 9.5/10.

The Lost World: Jurassic Park
(1997)

My favorite Jurassic Park sequel
The Lost World: Jurassic Park may not be as good as the first movie, but it is one hell of a thrill ride! I love this movie because of how different it is compared to the first film. The first movie took place at a dinosaur theme park on an island known as Isla Nublar, while this one takes place in the wild on an island known as Isla Sorna. The actors Jeff Goldblum and Julianne Moore were FANTASTIC! I really enjoyed Goldblum's character Dr. Malcom just as much as I loved him in the first film! And Julianne Moore as Sara was a very interesting character as well and I loved the connection between these two characters and that she really had a lot to do in the film as well as all of the other actors. I am also REALLY surprised by the special effects in this film! The CGI and the animatronics they used in this film really made these dinosaurs come to life and it looked REALLY GROUNDBREAKING and still looks FANTASTIC to this day! I loved almost every minute of The Lost World and I wasn't disappointed at all! I also don't understand why films like this are so underrated and get a lot of hate, because if you watch and discover the story that certain movies such as The Lost World hold, then I can NOT see you not having fun with this film! I thought this was a great sequel even though it may not be as good as the original Jurassic Park, I still have a deep heart for The Lost World: Jurassic Park and i'm gonna give it a 9.5/10.

Jurassic Park
(1993)

One of the GREATEST movies of ALL TIME!
What can I say that hasn't been said already? Jurassic Park is a film like no other! When this came out back in 1993, it was a huge hit with a great story and groundbreaking special effects and they STILL work to this day! To be honest, I would actually consider Jurassic Park my favorite Steven Spielberg film since Jaws. This movie is THAT good. As a matter a fact, it's GREAT! I'm a huge fan of dinosaurs and I also love watching prehistoric films such as The Land Before Time, Dinosaur and other films, but NO other dinosaur film in the world topped Jurassic Park. This movie is an instant masterpiece and a HUGE classic on so many levels and became a franchise later on with 3 sequels and 4 next year. And although the sequels don't really live up to the original, I really did enjoy watching The Lost World: Jurassic Park and Jurassic World. I thought they were great sequels to a successful franchise and for a grade, I would give The Lost World and Jurassic World both a 9.5/10. However, I'm not really a huge fan of Jurassic Park III, but it's ok and i'd probably give it a 7.0/10. But to this day, Jurassic Park is the BEST in the entire franchise and it has stood the test of time successfully and absolutely without a doubt Jurassic Park gets a 10/10.
