Barbie
(2023)

Barbie is a masterpiece and I'm not joking
I'm not a Barbie fan. The only time I loved Barbie was when she was in the Toy Story movies. But that changed after I saw the Barbie movie. This movie is not only Greta Gerwig's best film but also the year's greatest movie so far!!!!! Margot Robbie (my favorite actress of all time) is beautiful and portrays Barbie with pure perfection!!! And then there's Ken (played by Ryan Gosling in a career-best performance)!!! Robbie and Gosling shine and are easily the years best duo.

The story starts with Barbie doing her usual routine in Barbieland, a land filled with multiple Barbies, each with a different occupation. The Ken's also visit playing the roles a woman would play. Barbie starts experiencing real emotional symptoms like thinking about death, crying and flat feet. She learns from Weird Barbie that the Real World will have the answers to her questions. Barbie than travels with Ken to the real world and find out many things : Barbie is a doll played by a grown woman named Gloria (America Ferrera in her best movie performance), Mattel wants to put Barbie back in the box and Ken learns about America's patriarchy and men rule the world. All of these problems combine into a hilarious comedy that provides great messages about woman empowerment and being who you want to be.

The production design of Barbieland and costumes of all the Barbies and Kens are Oscar-worthy. The soundtrack is pretty solid with two great songs: Ryan Gosling's 80s ballad called I'm Just Ken and Billie Ellish's emotional song at the end of the movie, "What was I made for?".

The direction of Greta Gerwig is finally put to great use in Barbie as she's goes to make the best comedy in years and the script she wrote with her partner Noah Baumbach is the perfect mixture of stupid comedy, great-comedy drama and emotional drama.

Gosling gives his best and definitely deserves an Oscar nomination as his role of Ken is up there with the comedy greats of Meliss Mccarthy in Bridesmaids and Robert Downey Jr. In Tropic Thunder.

The real scene stealer is Margot Robbie. Robbie has been in multiple box office failures but Barbie changed that. She's been nominated twice for the Oscar for her incredible performances in I, Tonya and Bombshell. My favorite actress is about to be nominated for Best Actress and Best Picture for Barbie!!!! Margot Robbie is astonishing and a tour de force in Barbie, which is the best performance of her whole career!!! Go Margot Robbie!!!!!

This movie is definitely worth watching!!!!!! I want to watch it again!!!!!!

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse
(2023)

A+++++ A Masterpiece for Cinema
15/10!!!! Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is a masterpiece not just for superhero movies and animated movies, but cinema itself!! The Empire Strikes Back meets The Dark Knight of animated sequels!! The story is more dramatic and emotional than I thought. The animation is beautiful, mixing all sorts of animation styles like computer animated, hand drawn, comic book, etc. The voice acting is stellar, especially Shamiek Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, and Oscar Isacc!!! My favorite superhero movie I've seen in a long time. Dear Academy, don't just give this the Oscar for Best Animated Feature but also a nomination for Best Picture!!!! Go see this immediately!!!!

The Boys: The Instant White-Hot Wild
(2022)
Episode 8, Season 3

Pretty good episode but terrible finale
How can a good season end so badly? I was not impressed or surprised. It had some good moments but I really thought they would kill of a very major character. The only major death was Black Noir and he was barely in the show til this season. Also Butcher going from wanting to kill Homelander to trying to get Soldier Boy first is just like what? I'm a little disappointed in Butcher. Also Maeve was supposed to die and they just reveal her like a typical fake death from a Marvel movie.

Also did the writers forget about Cindy from Season 2. Like where is she? Also, why don't they post the video of Homelander refusing to save people on the plane? Let's hope Season 4 is a comeback for the show.

The Boys: What I Know
(2020)
Episode 8, Season 2

This is how you do a season finale...
This episode of The Boys is one of the best episodes not only in the show but of recent television. It shows how a season finale sums up all the parts of the previous episodes and turn into an amazing cliffhanger. It's funny, crude and emotional. This was nominated for Beat Writing at the Emmys. This should've won.

Jurassic World Dominion
(2022)

Had some good parts but overall, the worst Jurassic Film Ever!!!! Didn't even feel like a finale.
As a massive fan of the original Jurassic Park from 1993, it was a great pleasure seeing Sam Neil, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum reprise their roles as Alan Grant, Ellie Sadler and Ian Malcolm. That's it. That's the only good part of the movie. Each star represents them. The story didn't even feel like a Dinosaur movie, it mostly focused on solving the problem with locusts and dinosaurs were just in the way.

The visuals were decent, some parts had the effects not looking very finished. One scene where Claire Dearing (played by the beautiful and talented Bryce Dallas Howard) ejects from a plane, had the worst looking green screen I've seen in years.

The acting is just cringey. Chris Pratt isn't even trying anymore. He's not giving it all he got. I miss the days when he did drama films like Moneyball, Zero Dark Thirty, and Her. This is proof he's turning into another lame action star like Stallone, Arnold, and Willis. Campbell Scott does a terrible playing a wannabe Tim Koch. He's not even trying as well. Even the kid acts bad.

If you really want to see Alan, Ellie, and Ian again, just rewatch the 1993 classic on DVD, Blu-ray, HBO Max or wherever, just relive the classic that Steven Spielberg gave us. Spielberg's direction was A+ in the original while Colin Trevorrow's direction isn't the greatest, in fact, it's the absolute worst. He ain't smart and hopefully he'll stay away from movies after this and take directing and writing classes.

Don't waste 2 and a half hours. Just watch the first one. This movie is so awful it makes Jurassic Park III and Fallen Kingdom look like masterpieces.

Here's my final rank of the movies:

1st: Jurassic Park 2nd: Jurassic World 3rd: Lost World 4th: Fallen Kingdom 5th : Jurassic Park III 6th: Dominion

This was God awful. I need to go rewatch the original. Thank God for Steven Spielberg movies.

Jurassic Park III
(2001)

Why does this movie exist?
So rewatching this movie to get ready for Jurassic World Dominion, this is the worst one in the franchise and I don't consider this canon. The plot makes little sense and too many plot holes. Also, the visual effects were awful. The first movie used animatronics and it looked beautiful. It still looks great today. JP 3 doesn't age well.

Wonder Woman 1984
(2020)

What did I just watch???!!! What happened DC??!!
The first Wonder Woman from 2017 was an instant classic. It showed strong representation of women, spectacular direction by Patty Jenkins and a story full of depth and actors who worked very hard to make fans and critics adore Wonder Woman and the comics even more. What did I just watch when I saw WW84.

This movie is flat out stupid from start to finish. It shows that a great first movie has a terrible sequel like Cars 2. The movie is set in 1984 where Diana encounters a woman named Barbara. They become friends and they study the Dream Stone. This stone makes one wish come true but it takes something in return. Diana wishes for Steve Trevor to come back and it magically comes true. Failed businessman Max Lord gets his hands on the Dream Stone and causes complete chaos as he wishes to be the Stone himself. Barbara wishes to become like Diana and she doesn't want to give it away so she becomes Cheetah to try and stop Diana from saving the world.

Why did Steve come back in a stranger's body?

Why not just bring him back instead of using the body switching process? We would still get the same movie.

Why happens to Max and Barbara at the end? Do they go to jail or something?

Why didn't they play more 80s music? The production design and costumes are incredible but the visuals, and lack of 80s fun makes this unrewatchable.

I wish we got more Robin Wright and Connie Nielsen in the movie. Which reminds me, at the beginning of the first movie, Diana's mom clearly stated that she doesn't want Diana to train. She didn't accept her secret training til she was a teen. But at the beginning of the movie, Diana as a kid is in the Olympics. What the heck???!!! This is inconsistent!!!!

The direction was terrible considering a great job Patty Jenkins did with the first movie. She makes too many changes and long cuts. It felt like a cheap wannabe Marvel movie. The visuals are just lacking realism. Visuals are suppose to add some suspense or look beautiful. Cheetah is an improvement from the awful CGI tragedy called Cats but it still looks bad. I would rather see Wonder Woman fight a shark. Don't watch this sequel at all. Let's hope WW3 will be a massive improvement and bring back the heart, depth and spectacular action sequences in the first Wonder Woman.

The Hangover
(2009)

A movie that's flat out hilarious all the way through
Get ready for a movie that you'll have a fun time watching! The Hangover is easily one of the most hilarious movies of all time!! Packed with an incredibly hilarious script, and funny performances from the three leads, Cooper, Helms and Galifinakis, and pretty funny direction from Todd Phillips, The Hangover is a movie you'll never forget.

The film follows three friends, Phil, Stu and Doug as they head to Vegas for Doug's bachelor party, two days before his wedding, they also bring his finder's brother, Alan for the ride. They head to Caesar's Palace for a party they'll never forget but then the next morning, Phil, Stu, and Alan wake up hungover from the previous night, not remembering a single moment. When they wake up, they see some wild things: Stu is missing a tooth, a tiger is in the bathroom, a baby in the closet and no sign of Doug. They have to retrace their steps in order to find their best friend in time for his wedding. Throughout their search packs some hilarious moments.

Go watch The Hangover!! You can skip the sequels though.

Zack Snyder's Justice League
(2021)

One of the most beautiful DC movies, Comic Book movies and best moves ever.
Zack Snyder's Justice League is a must watch movie for all comic book fans even if you're not a huge DC fan. I'd rank this as my 2nd favorite DC movie of all time and my all time favorite DCEU movie. The film follows the same plot as the God awful 2017 movie by Joss Whedon, where the Justice League unite to stop Steppenwolf from conquering the world. Only this time, this movie fixes all the mistakes that were wrong with the 2017 garbage. Theres more character development, especially with Cyborg and the Flash, there are longer action sequences and much better acting and writing in general. One big scene was Wonder Woman stopping the terrorists at the beginning of the movie, also watching Superman appear in a black suit was the biggest highlight. The biggest strength is Snyder's vision. He wanted this to be a big comic book movie that keeps fan excited for more DC content just like his work on Man of Steel and BVS: Dawn of Justice (Ultimate Edition). Even though this movie is 4 hours, you will not regret it and might want to rewatch it again immediately. Go watch the Snyder Cut as soon as possible.

Garden State
(2004)

An amazing movie from start to finish. Zach Braff should be a big name in directing.
Garden State is an astonishing film. It's proof that a first time director can make a film very could that you'll rewatch it often. Similar to Bradley Cooper' s A Star Is Born and Jordan Peele's Get Out, Zach Braff's Garden State can show that a director's first film can be one of the best films of that specific year. We all know Zach Braff for his Emmy Nominated role as John J. D. Dorian in the hit comedy drama series Scrubs but he takes a quick change here. He writes, direct and stars as Andrew Largeman, a struggling actor who works at a Vietnamese restaurant in L. A.. He is forced to go home when his mother dies from drowning NM in the bathtub. This takes the movie to New Jersey, where Large sees his estranged father (Ian Holm) for the first time in years. He also sees his old buddies, one of them played by Peter Saarsgard. While at home, he meets a girl named Sam (Natalie Portman), who they immediately connect while meeting in a waiting room. This takes him on a journey to find who he really is.

The soundtrack is also incredible and won a Grammy for Best Compilation soundtrack. Braff shows us a movie that may have the romantic comedy drama elements but feels more real than most romance stories today. One scene includes him screaming on top of a crane with his friends into an empty abyss as the beautiful cinematography zooms out. Garden State is a much watch. Let's hope Zach Braff directs another great comedy drama like this soon.

Wonder Woman
(2017)

What a Beautiful Movie!! Gal Gadot is astonishing!!
Wonder Woman is an incredible movie from start to finish!! One of the best superhero movies ever and one of the greatest movies of 2017! I never loved a superhero movie so much I rewatch it almost every week! This is the best DC Movie since Dark Knight (until Snyder Cut happened). This is a beautiful film packed with unique visual effects, stellar action sequences, a well-written script and mesmerizing direction by Patty Jenkins, who also directed the Academy Award Winning Monster, starring Charlize Theron. Gal Gadot is the best actress of Diana Prince, who lived on the island of Themyscria, filled with strong women like her. She decides to leave the island to help Captian and Pilot Steve Trevor (played by Chris Pine in one of his best roles) after her mother and island warriors known as the Amazon's refuse to help him. She goes with Steve into World War I and meets his friends and Ares, The God of War, is the cause of this destruction. She becomes Wonder Woman, The hero we all love.

Go watch this movie!! Gal Gadot is beautiful, strong and very talented!! I recommend everyone watch this superhero movie. This movie is a great representation to women empowerment!!

.

The Last Airbender
(2010)

Not only the worst TV adaptation but the worst film period.
This movie is disrespectful to the beloved animated series of Nickelodeon. The casting is just plain wrong. The actors show no emotion, I felt like I was watching a middle school play. The visuals and music were descent but this movie is poorly written and directed and acted. Dev Patel has increased his acting strength with Lion and The Green Knight but this was just his worst. I felt like Shamalyan didn't watch the show. One scene showed 6 earthbenders doing a choreographed dance lifting one rock while in the show, one earthbender could like a Big Part of the ground with the movement of his two hands.they pronounced the names wrong.

Justice League
(2017)

Don't waste your time. The Snyder Cut is where it's at.
This is not the superhero movie you wanted. It's poorly acted, badly written and the visuals don't look finished. I know a Zack Snyder film when I see one. If you watch Dawn of the Dead, 300, Watchmen, Man of Steel and Batman V Superman Ultimate Edition, then you will know how Snyder can make a film interesting and entertaining. Watch his Snyder Cut of Justice League if you want to be satisfied. I hate 2017 Justice League with all my heart.

Man of Steel
(2013)

What's with all the hate?! I LOVE MAN OF STEEL!!!
Am I one of the few people who actually love this movie? Man of Steel has beautiful visuals, an amazing cast ensemble, and action scenes to blow you away. The story is better than that awful Superman Returns movie and it's like the actors are doing their best. It's no Wonder Woman or Aquaman, but its a very fun watch and completely unforgettable!!
