Honestly I work at a movie theater and with 38yrs of watching movies it was fresh and a different take dealing with how things were in the past. I can see if your ignorant you may take something about this movie being racist but truth is whether we like it or not history wasn't always pleasant and lying or hiding the truth doesn't do anything. The scares and the cast are great main lead is charismatic. There's jokes clever lines and a twist they may be a bit predictable. Though it all is well thought out greatly pasting and would of paid to see this on big screen or on my case free cause I manage a theater. So I say if you watch it all through out I think you will find it enjoyable.

When I saw the trailer it gave me perfect blue/ black sun type of vibes I love psychological horrors. This was alot like them. In alot of ways girl wants to make it big and sorta a alter-ego thats successful but she needs to loose apart of herself to do so. You see here is where it differs. With out giving to much away it has more supernatural murder mystery and honestly much to my surprise it explains pretty much everything if you pay close attention. Its more of a ghost movie then you realize. The acting is great and the pacing keeps you drawn into the suspense but its a movie you must watch to its conclusion. Totally worth your time. ;-)

It was great the Tention between the father in law the and then the supernatural both trying to wedge a gap in-between a father and daughter. The art style and crafted horrorish characters make this one to remember and to add to collection of great original movies. It reminded me of babyhood or the crooked man. Also Coraline with the other mother.

This movie is more torturers from the boring and non interesting plot. I'd have more fun on a actual torture device being slowly pulled apart by stretching my arms and legs. Dont waist your time.

Unlike Steven kings movie it actually had relivence to the name. Is not as bad as I read on some reviews.

Mute guy falls in love with women in water besides her eyes going black and her voices changing not much happens. Not scary not a good romance movie all around pointless waste of time.

This movie is actually really good if you follow it cuase it jumps between different but linked time frames
