This seems at first glance to be a slow paced story, but it is carefully building to a fun of unexpected climax. A good season closer.

This is a fun episode that works well in a confined setting that doesn't feel confined. The cast all interact well and the script is tight, there is some wit akin to The Riddle of the Sphinx. This episode succeeds in being dark but not sombre.

This was a more mundane episode of Inside No 9. The narrative was delivered in an interesting way revolving around an object we are all familiar with and the acting was very good but sadly it is one of the weaker scripts of the series, so more of a mixed bag.

This is one of the lesser episodes of Inside No 9 as the story is more straightforward and direct than many others but the setting and cast work well and you develop some sympathy for one of the characters. Not a typical episode of the series but a nice contrast.

I love everything about this episode, it relies principally on the two writers to perform the lead roles, it is witty with a twisting plot-line and it takes place in a University setting much like the University I was at. Great production.

I love how the dialogue flows between the key actors in this episode. You can tell they are all enjoying this and it has a quick tempo to it. Very engaging.

The tacky kitsch 70s colouring of the camera work is visually stunning and the whole ethos makes it feel as though it was produced and filmed in the 1970s. It has the feel of an episode of Doctor Who or Children of the Stones to it. Perfection!

This is an amusing end of season episode. It is a simple story but carries some nice atmosphere, it is more comical than some episodes but that is required of the script. Steadman is very amusing and adds lots of impact.

This very witty episode has echoes of an episode from The Blackadder. It also presents the villagers in a fashion like those seen in Maid Marian and her Merry-Men. Fun times.

However many times you re-watch this episode the craftsmanship is exquisite. TV rarely delivers such a full experience in 30 minutes. Sheridan Smith is an actress who brings real pathos to each role she inhabits and the support cast work wonderfully. This is standout Television and has to rank as one of the finest episodes of a television series ever.
