Why can't anyone just leave the classics alone? You can't copy them, you can't replace them, you can't.....you can't.....you can't!!!

Although there were SOME funny bits in there, it wasn't the same.

It would have been better to have it modern day, with all new characters.

I'm so sick and tired of classics getting dragged through the mud and corporate greed!

Out of all the billions of books out there, with billions of stories, and billions of scenarios.............movie and show makers just can't stop degrading the classics!

Although the movie IS watchable, it has nothing in common with the original series, except for the names of the characters.

It's failed attempts at camp and humor actually make it funny enough to watch. Adding some horrific violence and gore into this did not help their cause either.

Both actors had potential, but they just didn't give it anything. I think the guy playing Frank was the best character in this film. I love the twist they gave his personality......that fit so well with the modernization of this....uh, fiasco.

If you ever watch this, treat it like you would a very badly made fan-film. It tries, but it just doesn't make it. Kind of like watching a fan made Superman flick where Superman is a scrawny nerd instead of a buff he-man, wearing a saggy Superman suit. It just doesn't fit.

I've NEVER believed anything any critic says, as they are all paid to say what they say by their employers or advertisers. They aren't going to tell the truth, no matter how many lies they have to tell.

I was extremely skeptical about The Orville, as I expected nothing more than another filthy mouthed comedy degrading everything and everyone that can be degraded. But Seth MacFarlane shows us he has the know-how to professionally and comedically poke a little fun at one of the most loved sci-fi legacies in history.

The first few episodes are a little bumpy, but thats usually the way any really good show starts off. You have to get the "getting to know you" part out of the way before they can really get into what they want to show us.

Fun, witty, and an never ending homage to about every great sci-fi show there has ever been. The right amount of humor mixed with the perfect amount of humility, friendship, love, and everyday life.

And the special effects are 5 star all the way.

I fully expected a huge explosion of "stuff" hitting the fan when this aired, but Seth has proven he has the capability and understanding to do something better than Family Guy.

I hope this show lasts at least 5 years. It will definitely become one of the greats of sci-fi comedies.

I'm not a big Florence Henderson fan, but she was awesome in this movie, as were all the ladies!!! This movie was definitely not what I thought it would be, and actually turned out to be something I'd love to see a sequel or two from!

One of the best "B" movies made in a long time! Destined to become a cult film for sure.

Just goes to show you, don't base someones intellect or gumption on their age! They are sure to surprise you!

Brilliance beyond compare! Classic Batman with all the trimmings! How could you NOT love this?!

Too bad Adam West passed on, it would have been a much better fitting tribute to have a few more of these classic camp tributes to the Batman universe. But for what happiness he brought us in his work as actor and voice actor as Batman, he will live forever.

I do have to say though, it baffles the heck out of me how DC/WB can be superlatively awesome in animation, and suck so very badly with the latest horrific endeavors in live action movies. I will never understand it.

The other voice actors they found for the roles of those who have already passed on, again is beyond brilliant, I would swear I'm hearing the voice of the actual original actor!

Lee Meriweather was a treat! I did not expect to "see" her in any of these animated resurrections! How purrfect it was to see her in Catwoman form again.

As for Ms. Julie Newmar, the original, the best, the most fantastic Catwoman ever.....I never thought it possible that I could love Catwoman any more than I did, but after seeing this, I'm just in love all over again.

The camp, the cheese, the wit, the cliche's, and that Batmobile! FREEKING FANTASTIC!

Not an award winner by any means, but it was fun to watch. I also liked that the whole episode was less than an hour, but it told a complete story without sacrificing any part of what was going on.

The characters were believable, the story was just right without being too "cartoony" or stupid. There was just the right amount of everything for a good, decent program.

I would like to see more single episodes like this one.

I read some reviews, a couple of which said this movie is an abomination. Now that I have finally seen the movie, I can say I know what they mean. Until seeing this movie, I was a die hard Wonder Woman fan. Now I am just repulsed beyond description.

Breakdown of an abomination:

The Story- Wow, did they ever screw this storyline to hell and back! Diana was created out of love and loneliness, so Hippolyta could have her own daughter to love. She was blessed by the Goddesses, giving Diana a little piece of each of their powers. Diana was NOT created as weapon of mass destruction, nor was she created as a "god killer"! Once again, Hollywood has completely abominized another great character into being nothing more than a murder machine. They really did a HACK JOB on this story. One that is wrong on so many levels.

Sick and depraved doesn't even begin to cover this!

The Amazons- According to Diana's TRUE story, Amazons are thousands of years old and can live thousands of years. Yet we are expected to believe they instantly speak and understand ALL languages, when they have NEVER been off the island?!? The only ACCEPTABLE languages Amazons would speak, would be Greek, Roman, and Latin. And even with this, after thousands of years, they would have developed their own dialect and alternate language for themselves, they would have no concept of "new" languages, even though Diana is a quick learner, there is NO WAY she would have been able to converse in as many languages as she did in this movie. And all of the dialects and accents were VERY much out of place and not even remotely acceptable as being true to what the Amazons are. Again, another sick bastardization.

The Characters- Lucy Davis as Etta Candy was absolutely brilliant. How they could find such an awesome person to play such a small part, and choose the most unacceptable people for the leads is still beyond my comprehension! Chris Pine is good, and I do like him....but he is NO Steve Trevor. He is more suited for being a spy character. I can barely accept him as Captain Kirk as it is. But Steve Trevor he's not. David Thewlis as Ares God of War? I think I hurt myself laughing so hard! Wow, and I thought Gal Gadot was the worst choice made in this movie! Well, I guess there had to be comic relief....and he was obviously it!

Gal Gadot. I've read that RuPaul would have made a better choice for Wonder Woman, and I agree. Yes, she's pretty, but thats about it. She's no Amazon, she's no Diana Prince, and she is ABSOLUTELY NO WONDER WOMAN! And as with David Thewlis, nothing more than comic relief.

Wonder Woman- Wonder Woman cannot fly, she cannot levitate, she is no god, even though she has some of the powers of the Goddesses. Her tools of the trade (tiara, bracelets, lasso) don't hold any magical powers themselves....well, except for the lasso. The TRUE Wonder Woman doesn't use the tools of man (swords and shields), she uses the tools of Amazons to enhance her abilities, nothing more. She is not a psycho killer as Gadot's pathetic representation suggests. The TRUE Diana abhors violence and doesn't use it unless all other avenues have failed. She is also an Amazon, meaning she is slightly taller and more athletically built than the average man, not the size of a teenaged girl.

Summary- This "movie" IS an abomination to everything that the TRUE Wonder Woman stood for and is....er, was. Again, Hollywood bastardizing and trashing something good, for the almighty dollar. A back story bastardized and mangled, a culture made into something laughable, and with the exception of Lucy Davis, a cast of comedians attempting to play straight roles and serious characters.

The music in the movie was even wrong! It didn't fit the movie at all, and was depressing as hell. The soundtrack was NOT that of a superhero of any kind!

Feeble, miserable, and heart breaking doesn't even begin to cover this catastrophe.

Lynda Carter may have not been the "serious" Wonder Woman, but she apparently did her homework on who Diana truly is, and it really showed.

Sad to say, this life-long, die-hard Wonder Woman fan is no more. This "movie" completely destroyed everything that the Amazon is, and what she really could have been. Now there is nothing left but fond memories of what was.

NOT for kids!!! Heck, not even for adults!!!

A very slanderous, bigoted view of kids going through puberty. And stating that these are "kids" is a very loose term indeed! Adults with adult problems pretending to be kids. Not too long ago, this kind of thing would be rated X, for abusive adult language and overtly repugnant adult situations. Which is NOT something kids go through during puberty.

NetFlix needs a filter setting or "child block" lock on a lot of the shows they have on there. Some shows, like this one, aren't fit for anybody but sex degenerates.

As for this show, this is exactly the kind of thing that is proof that shows have gone too far in the degradation of not only shows, but animation itself. This is nothing more than "light porn", and shouldn't be on an open forum like NetFlix, where anybody at any age can view it.

Even the Porky's and American Pie movies weren't this degraded, and those were about HIGH SCHOOL KIDS!!!

Whereas Daredevil and Jessica Jones were freekin awesome, Defenders is a bit "under" those.

It's nice to finally see them all together and kicking butt, but something is lacking to pull it all together. The addition of Sigourney Weaver as the main villain was brilliant, but they killed her off WAY too soon! I think she should have been part of the cliffhanger for the next season.

Although the other characters seem to work together, Danny Rand/The Fist seems way out of place. I don't know what it is about him, but he seems like a bad afterthought addition, he just doesn't mesh with the rest of the cast of characters. I don't know if it's the actor or the writing for the character, but whatever it is, it's throwing the entire show off.....and thats why I only rate this 7 stars, which was a stretch just because of The Fist character.

I know Luke and Danny are supposed to be friends, but even that isn't working well. Again, something just seems to be lacking, and seem off about the whole thing between them. I don't know, it seems forced or contrived, not fluid like the other characters.

I guess we will see what happens with the next installment of episodes.

I would also like to know if they are going to make an appearance in the Avengers Infinity War movies.
