For me this was the best episode of the ER in the hole series. It is especially poignant because I have ocular degeneration the same as what Bob Newhart has in the episode. I am going through the same experiences he went through in the show. I have also contemplated suicide at some point in the future. Right now I have to use speech recognition for my messages because I cannot type.
