The Little Mermaid
(2023)

Not great.
The voices and changes to the songs are a huge distraction. They all have far different tones of voice than the original cast. The difference serve as a distraction, not in a good way. It feels like a different film but it's being billed as a remake. There's also things that make no sense history wise. Too much harmony for those times. There's so many unnecessary changes that it's charged the whole experience, I guess since I'm a fan of the original I was hoping for an homage. So much waiting around for the release, and I'm very disappointed in what's being presented here. I guess the switched genres too.

Late Night with Seth Meyers
(2014)

Thanksgiving Episodes Are The Best
Although I tend to skip the monologue because it's overtly political. I get that's his niche. I really look forward to the thanksgiving episodes. I tear up at the family video clips sometimes. He seems very approachable. I like the more relaxed look.

Star Trek: Prodigy
(2021)

Visually stunning
The first episode was great! I didn't feel like a kids show. I'm excited to see the rest of the season. The visuals are amazing! The cast seems fun and funny.

The 100
(2014)

Took off a star due to awful ending
The ending was bad, not sure what happened but it felt like a totally different shoe than the earlier seasons. I had rated it 8 stars but had to demote one. It felt like they wasted my time with that thrown together ending. Deaths left and right, loose ends everywhere. Lots of stuff just didn't make sense, even for science fiction.

Olympic Highlights with Kevin Hart & Snoop Dogg
(2021)

This show needs to continue
These guys definitely have great comedic chemistry. This show needs to continue in some other form. Maybe like a weekly variety commentary show. I'd definitely watch. I laughed hard multiple times every show.

Mr. Corman
(2021)

Boring
So slow paced. I'm a fan of his work but this was too slow for me. I fast forwarded through scenes several minutes but they were still dragging on far too long.

Punky Brewster
(2021)

I wasn't expecting to cry!
Talk about nostalgia overload! I absolutely loved it. I cried within the first minute which was unexpected but lovely! They did this reboot right!

The Map of Tiny Perfect Things
(2021)

Cute but cliche
A mishmash of Ferris Bueller's Day Off, the repeated mentioned, Groundhog's Day and The Fault in our Stars. Cute but cliche. Also no chemistry between the leads. The kiss felt forced instead of a build up it looked cold and awkward.

Happiest Season
(2020)

They should make a movie about Shadow Dreamers
Zero chemistry between any of of them. The only likable character was Jane, also where can I get a copy of Shadow Dreamers? I'd watch that if it ever gets made into a movie.

Emily in Paris
(2020)

Sex in the City, Paris
I'm here for it. Super cute, fun and funny. Love the style of it all. It doesn't take itself too seriously.

Enola Holmes
(2020)

Wasn't great
It was all over the place, couldn't tell which was the A storyline or B or C etc. The mom stuff became like an afterthought at the end there.

Bill & Ted Face the Music
(2020)

I wanted to love it
It was so dumb and I love dumb movies, but this was horrible. The script was awful! What a waste. I love you Keanu!

Space Force
(2020)

Meh
From what I gathered, the story is centered in a military brat who whines her way through her boring days. Makes bad choices which she gets bailed out of by various misfits who find each other in a space race. And fail. It's bad. I wanted to like it I'm a fan Steve as Micheal and Lisa Kudro as Phoebe. The comedic timing isn't there. I'd rather want the B storylines than the main one. It's not very funny, witty, sarcastic. It just misses every mark.

Mucho Mucho Amor: The Legend of Walter Mercado
(2020)

I miss him
I grew up watching him while my parents were working, every day we would shut up and listen to our horoscopes and most of the time they were pretty spot on. The documentary really made me reminisce and miss those times and also realize that I've been kind of in a slump, I need to pick myself up and be fabulous again.

The King of Staten Island
(2020)

I was distracted by his real-life story
I really like the movie but I felt a lot of the time I would get distracted thinking of how much of an autobiography it might really be. If he found the making of it cathartic. Or am I just projecting what I think I know about him from news reports.

Misbehaviour
(2020)

Excelente film
I thought it was really well written and so superbly acted. You really got a sense of who these people were even Greg Kinnear with the make up really embodied Bob Hope. I had no idea he was a womanizer!

Like a Boss
(2020)

I like the message
I can appreciate that they try to portray a good girl positive body positive message of acceptance but everything didn't come together in the way I'm sure they would have wanted there was no chemistry between the leads. Why the huge teeth?

Star Trek: Picard
(2020)

Engage!
Sooo good!! And I almost never give a 10 just my very favorites. Can't wait to see more!!

Last Christmas
(2019)

The twist made a huge difference
I wasn't liking the movie until the end, I stuck it out. It didn't make much sense and seemed rushed and awkward or like something was off. The twist at the end slightly changed my mind.

A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood
(2019)

New favorite to add to my list
I don't know about anybody else but I spent most of the movie crying it was just such a beautiful story and Tom Hanks did a wonderful job playing Mr. Mr. Rogers. It made me remember my childhood.

John Mulaney & the Sack Lunch Bunch
(2019)

I usually like John Mulaney
It either went over my head or under. I'm Usually a fan of John Mulaney. But this wasn't funny.

Christmas Break-In
(2018)

Bad Imitation of Home Alone
Just a bad movie. The kid is a very far cry from a natural. She needs lessons. That blonde curly sue hair can't carry her. Bad parenting, bad acting, just a bad film I wasted my time on.

Seth Meyers: Lobby Baby
(2019)

I love his comedic style
Great show, just felt the wife bit when a little long.

Angel Has Fallen
(2019)

Better than the 2nd one
A much better story than the second one. I miss the actress that plays the wife in the first 2 moves.

Glitch
(2015)

Excellent
We just finished watching it and we thought it was very well written and the acting was top notch! The ending could have been a bit shorter. I felt it went last the climatic point then slowed to halt.
