Taboo II
(1982)

Taboo II, The Film Of The Century
First Off, Let Me Get This Off My Chest Before I Go On To Review This Film. I've Not Seen The First Film and Started Off With Part 4 First Then Jumping From 4 To 9 Then To This Classic Porn. If I Miss Points That Hint The Original, I'm Sorry, But I Haven't Seen Part 1 Yet. Now On To The Review.

After Viewing The First Few Minutes, We Get A Rundown OF What Happened In Part 1 and Jump To The Present as We're Treated What Seems To Be A Tame Film. A Tame Film, It's Not and Should Not Be Called Tame. The Various Sex Scenes Were All Done Masterfully As Only Director Kirdy Stevens Can Imagine. It's A Thrill To See A Film Of This Caliber and Unlike Today's Porn, This Was Done During The Golden Age When You Weren't Just A One Hit Actor, When Porn Was Beginning To Take Mainstream Cred, and When Ron Jeremy Was Not Fat. Yeah Ron Is In This Film and Should Be Along With The All-Star Talent That AreIn This Film. The Comedy Is A Bit Crude, But This A Porno Film So All Is Forgiven. It's Great How The Story Revolved Around The Mc Bride Family and Still Kept Referrence To Barbara's Story From Part 1, Where Later On In Part 3 Both Mothers Not Only Go At It With Each Other, But Their Second Sons As Well.

I Believe That Mr. Stevens Intended To Make Only The First Three Movies and Cut It From There. The Other Installments Are Good, But Not As Great As Part 2 Where The Story Of The Forbidden Love "INCEST" Is Further Explored. I Think Up To Part 6 Involve The Same Storyline and Is Then Lost From Part 7 and On. Overall, You Got TO Check This Film Out. There Is Actual Acting Here and The Action Is Pure Hardcore Hitting Action. Thank You Mr. Kirdy Stevens For A Great Film Experience. 10/10

Deep Throat
(1972)

Long Live Deep Throat
Linda Lovelace In A Movie About Finding What "Tickles" Her Fancy When It Comes To Pleasures Of The Flesh. Enough Said About The Plot, The Acting Was Great, The Direction Was A Bit Slow At Times, But Hey This Is The Seventies, and The Characters Of Linda and Doctor Young Were Strong To Carry This Seventies Classic Porn. Soundtrack To The First Two Porn Segments Was So Fantastic That You Could Even Sing Along To The Music. Give This Classic Porn A Shot and Let ME Know What You Thought. Many Told and Untold Stories Surround This Movie Like Harry Reems Arrested and Story Of Linda's Experience How She Was Forced To Portray Such A Character.

The Devil in Miss Jones Part II
(1982)

Funny, But They Crossed The Line Here
So Here We Have The Sequel To The Original DMJ. This Comical Yet Crude Porno Has It's Ups and Downs As Justine Jones Goes In And Out Of Hell To Have Live A Life Consumed & Engulfed By Lust. Justine Sleeps With Devil, Devil Sends Justine Back To Earth To Live Forever As A Call-Girl Named Roxanne. After A Few Customers Come-A-Calling, Devil Gets Jealous and Switchs Justine To Another Body, Pvt. Parts. Pvt. Parts Gives The Army Something To Salute as She Makes An Example Of Her Commanding Officer. Devil Gets Jealous Again and Puts Justine In The Body Of A Tupper-Ware Lady. Soon This Harmless Girl Is Selling Plastic Sexy Toys and Goes Wild On A Male Customer and Pleases Him With Her New Toys. Devil Gets Angry and Puts Justine In A Nun. Nun Is About To Get Temped, But Stopped By "The Light". Devil and St. Peter Argue and Agree To Put Justine Back In Roxanne. Roxanne Then Pleases Customer Looking For Love and Compares Him To Devil. Devil Leaves Hell For Justine and That's It.

For The Good, To See Ron Jeremy In This Movie Was Funny. What's An Eighties Porno Movie Without Ron Jeremy? It Was Great To See The Plot Go In Different Direction Than In The Original, But The Original Is A Superior Movie Than This. And Seeing Joey Silvera in Action With Roxanne Was Great.

For The Bad, It Was Very Distastful To Have Justine In The Body Of The Nun, and Worse, To Give Her Temptations Of The Flesh, Not Good. The Use Of St. Peter Is Also Not A Good Thing For Movies Like This. I Feel That THE Line Was Crossed Here. Anything Else Would Have Been A Better Idea Instead Of The Religion Angle.

All in All, This Is A Good Sequel To A Superior Movie, But The Whole Religious Angle Toward The End Made Me Give This Movie A Lower Rating Than What I Normally Rate. 6/10

Halloween III: Season of the Witch
(1982)

Hurry Up It's, What Is THIS???
So Here We Hae The Black Sheep Of The HALLOWEEN Movies and This Is How It Goes. "Season Of The Witch" as It's Sub-Titled Has Nothing To Do With The Other HALLOWEEN Movies Except For Two Parts Where The Original HALLOWEEN'S Movie Commercial and Movie Excert Are Shown On The TV. Other Than That, This Movie Is Entertaining All On It's Own By Using A Different Approach To Use The Halloween Theme By Using Masks With Some Piece Of Stonehinge To Kill The Unaware Children Who Wear Them. Seeing This 80s Cheesefest With Tom Atkins As The Main Character Is A Sure Fun Ride If You Like Pointless Horror Movies. (Then I Guess That Means Me.) As A Stand-Alone Film, It Entertains You and Will Make You Think, But As A HALLOWEEN Sequel It SUCKS. You Can Catch This Movie On AMC Every So Often Or Catch The Double Feature DVD Along With HALLOWEEN II. I Give This Schlockfest.....7/10 Cuz It Is A GUILTY PLEASURE.

The Dark Knight
(2008)

The Dark Knight Brought Batman Back
So We Have Here THE DARK KNIGHT, The Recent Installment To The New Batman Franchise and This Movie Got It Right. I Liked The How The Joker Was Portrayed as a Cruel-Non Remorse Killer Out To Shake Things Up In Gotham. However, Heath Ledger Didn't Do A 100% Job As The Menacing Joker. The Tagline "WHY SO SERIOUS!!!?" Really Did Send Chills As Ledger Would Say It, But The Different Stories He Would Say To Accompany His Scars Were Totally Pointless. The Performance From Morgan Freeman As Bruce Wayne's Friend Did Put Interest In This Movie With All The New Devices and Means To His Acting. Christian Bale As The Dark Knight Himself Proves To Be Supreme Actor and Makes This Role His Own. Overall, Supreme To All Batman Movies With All Respect, But The Hype For Heath Ledger Not Too Hyped Up Here.

9/10

Jason X
(2001)

Evil Gets An Upgrade
Well, I Just Finished Watching This Flick Not Too Long Ago and Agree With The Tag Line...Evil Gets An Upgrade. It's Great To See The Infamous Jason Voorhees Go On His Usual Killing Spree and Madness. Starts Off With Jason About To Get Frozen, But Escapes and Kills Off The Government Officials Who Are About To Freeze Him. From There, He Eventually Gets Frozen, But Takes A Victim With Him and Spend The Next 400 Years Frozen and Earth Becomes A Vast Wasteland. From There, The Victim and Jason Get Thawed Out and The Mayhem and Killing Begin. At One Point, Jason Is Vanquished But Gets Upgraded With A New Mask and Tricked Out Machete and Keeps Bring On The Pain. The Ending Is A Lame One and I'll Just Leave It At That.

The Actors Were Not All Into The Story, Except Kane Hodder Who Plays Jason For The Fourth Time In This Movie; The Story Was Far-fetched to Send One Of Horror's Great Icons Into Space; But For What This Movie Is Worth, It's Not A Bad Film. This Isn't The Weakest Of The Franchise, But It Had It's Great Moments and Nice To See Jason Back In Action.

Café Flesh
(1982)

Gluity Pleasure or Not
Well, I Continue My Turn On Classic Porn Gems Of The 80s, and I Come Along With This Post Nuclear War Tale Of Erotica and Silliness. That's Right I'm Talking About The Artisque Vision Of CAFE FLESH. This Porn Opens With A Story Of Post Apocalyptic Earth Where 99% Of The Population Can't 'Perform' and Are Sex Negatives and The "Lucky" 1% Are The Sex Positive Who Are Left To 'Perform'. So To See The 'Performance' We, The Sex Negatives, Must Go To CAFE FLESH and Watch. The Story Centers Around The Happenings That Go On In The Infamous Cafe Where Erotic Fantasies Are Performed On Stage, Like The Woman and Milkman Fantasy, The Secretary and Boss Fantasy, The Two Lesbian Lovers, The First Encounter (Angel's First Fantasy), and The Dream Sequence. The Sub-Plot Centers Around Some Of The Characters Who Are Constant Clients Who Attend and Deal With The Everyday Life Of Being A Negative. Problem Is One Is A Recently Acquired Positive Who Finally Gives In and The Other Is Living With Her Boyfriend and She Is A Positive Living Among The Negatives. In The End, Both Girls Are In The Final Fantasy and The Boyfriend can't Believe It.

The Plot Was Is Original For The Time and Era, The Music Is Catchy, and The Famous Sound Effect In Angel's Fantasy (Now In WHite Zombie's "More Human Than Human") Will Make You Trip Out With This Psychodelic Fantasy Porn Of The Eigthies. Stay Tuned In Here As I Continue My Path With The Classic Porn Kingdom With DMJ II "Justine", DT "Linda", and The Tale Of "Taboo".

The X Files
(1998)

The X Files Is One To Believe
Well, With The Upcoming Sequel To This Blockbuster Will Be A Great Comeback For Sci-Fi. Until Then, Here Are My Thoughts On The First Movie. The Idea Of Aliens On Earth Since Caveman Times Is Brilliant and To Have The Alien Virus Live Throughout The Years Till Modern Times and Altered To Be A Weapon Of Mass Destruction Is An Ingenious Plan. For The Case To Fall Into Mulder and Scully's Lap Is A Great Story In The Long Histroy Of X-Files. This Movie Twists Your Mind and Leaves You Thinking About The Plots Involved In The Series Only To Have The Answers Taken Away and Puts You Back At Square One To Make You Wonder If It Was All True Or All An Illusion That The Hidden Government Wants To Cover The Alien Conspiracy. Aside From Classic Sci-Fi Movies, This Modern Sci-Fi Gem Is Sure To Become A Classic As Time Goes By and Make Characters Agent Mulder and Scully Sci Fi Legends. Remember The Future Is Out There and This Is A Fight For The Future.

AVPR: Aliens vs Predator - Requiem
(2007)

Alien and Predator Save This Movie
This Movie Picks Up Where The Original Leaves Off and Get To See Some Decent Alien/Predator Action Before The Movie Picks Up. We Get A Lot Of New Faces To Play All The Human Characters In The Colorado Town, But They No Nothing. The Acting Is Horrible, The Interest Level Is Very Low When The Predator Or Alien Or Hybrid Creature are Not On Screen, and The Plot Of The Government Getting Involved Was Seen A Mile Away. Only When The Creatures Are On Screen Does This Movie Get Interesting and There Be Plenty Of Blood & Gore. It's Great To See The Predator Back In The Forest Setting Hunting and Killing Whoever Gets In His Way Like In the Original PREDATOR Movie. Same Can Be Said For The Aliens, It's Great To See Many Aliens Go For The Prey and Kill, and the Infamous Chest-Bursting Alien Moments Like In ALIENS. The Hybrid Creature (Alien/Predator) Was Great and The Story Line Of How The Predator Creatures Didn't Want Him and Killing Aliens Was Awesome. Now Does This Leave It Open For A Third Installment, Probably But It May Not Happen For A Long Time.

Prom Night
(2008)

This Movie Sucked
Now I Don't Mean The Harsh Headline For This Review, But It's True. Coming From A Horror Movie Fanatic Like Myself, I Had Heard Of This Remake and Knew That This Movie Was Gonna Suck From The Start. Well, Here Are My Thoughts On This Movie. I Got The Chance To See This Movie On Opening Night and Went In With Hopes and Expectations With This Movie, But As Many With Recent Horror Remakes It Was Toned Down, Didn't Resemble The Original's Plot (Except The Prom Story), and Not Enough Blood & Gore. I Mean, Come On Hollywood, If There Are Gonna Be Horror Remakes, Make Them To Resemble The Original and Not Insult Them By Rating Them PG-13. As For PROM NIGHT, I Fell Asleep For The First Half Of The Movie and Was Awakend By The Screams Of The Group Of Teenagers In The Row Behind Me. What I Saw Was A Cheesy Looking Death Scene Of The Hotel Maid Getting Killed By Our Maniac Killer. In The End, Avoid This Movie At All Costs.

The Return of the Living Dead
(1985)

Do You Want To Party.....It's Party Time!!!!!!
In 1985, There Was A Gem Of A Zombie Movie That Made Audiences Flock To Movie Theaters. Not Since George A. Romero's NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD Had A Zombie Movie Made An Impact In The Horror Genre Like RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD. This Movie Is A Cult Classic That Mixes Humor, Gratuitous Nudity, Great Music, Zombies and of course BRAINS!!!!!! The Movie Starts Off With Two Guys Who Discover Some Old Military Containers With Some Corpses and Unleash The Chemicals From Within. The Chemicals Then Bring The Dead Back To Life and Turn The Living Into Zombies. A Group Of Friends Go Party It Up At The Local Cemetery and Encounter The Dead Retuning To Life and From There All Chaos Breaks Loose. In The End, The Military Find Out Where The Containers are Located and Bomb The City. This Movie Is Sure To Leave Any Horror Fan Satisfied and Levae You Wanting MORE BRAINS!!!!!!!! Personally, My Favorite Part Involves The Tar-Man Saying, "MORE BRAINS!!!!!!!" Though As A Horror Movie Fanatic I Love This Movie A Lot, But NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD Is Still King Of The Zombie Flicks. 9/10

Iron Maiden: Death on the Road
(2006)

Iron Maiden Brings Death On The Road
The Band: Iron Maiden The Place: Dublin, Ireland

This Concert Was Filmed As Part Of the DANCE OF DEATH Tour Brought To Us By The Heavy Metal Gods IRON MAIDEN. This Concert Serves Up Many Of Iron Maiden's Hits Like Number Of The Beast, Run To The Hills, Fear Of The Dark, Hallowed Be Thy Name, and Iron Maiden. The Background Changes Matched In Contrast To Each Song Performed, or The Giant Eddie (Iron Maiden's Skull Character) That Makes A Few Appearances, This Concert Is Sure To Make A Fan Out Of You. These Classic Heavy Metal Icons Know How To Put On A GREAT Show, and This DVD Proves How GREAT An Iron Maiden Concert Is.

10/10

Grindhouse
(2007)

Movie Theaters Should Pull Out More Of These
Well, This Is What A Grindhouse Double Feature Should Be Like. This Movie That Features Two Features "Planet Terror" and "Death Proof" Was What Hollywood Needs To Pump Out Out and Keep Making, But Due To The Lack Of Profit That Will Never Happen. Well On To The Movie.

The Movie Starts Off With A Faux Trailer To A Movie Called "Machete" With Danny Trejo and Cheech Marin as A Renegade Hit-man and His Brother A Priest To Do Avenge The Wrong Our Government Did To Machete. Then We Open To "Planet Terror", A Zombie Film That Would Make Any Fan Of "Night Of The Living Dead" Proud. The Blood, Guts, and Oh Yes...The Women Are The Great Things About This Feature. The Only Bad Thing I Found A Flaw With This Feature Was The Fact Tarantino Tried A Sex Scene and His Character's "Testicles" Were Turning Into Mush. Next, We Have A Few More Faux Trailers With "Werewolf Women Of The S.S.", "Don't!!!", and The Perverse "Thanksgiving". Personally My Favorite Has To Be "Werewolf Women Of The S.S.". Then We Go To "Death Proof", Which Is A Different Turn Than "Planet Terror". This Feature Is Slow Paced and Very Talkative, But I Think That's What Tarantino Was Aiming For. We Have A Sadistic Stuntsman Go On A Killing Spree By Killing Them With His Old Dodge Charger. This Was The Segment That I Did Not care For Much, But Hey If Rosario Dawson Is In It, Why Not.

Overall, This Movie Was Worth The Price Of Admission and Too Bad For It Being Separated On DVD Release. I Do Look Forward To "Machete" Coming Out As A Full Length Movie and The Possibility Of "Werewolf Women Of The S.S." Being Made In Full. Just Hope They Try Once More With Another Grindhouse With These Two, But Let's See.

Debbie Does Dallas Part II
(1981)

Great Flick, But I Need To See The Original
Well, I Just Acquired This Forgotten Adult Film From The Eighties and Got It On Original VHS Format and After Viewing It, I Was Impressed But Not That Impressed. To Think, I've Never Seen The Original and Yet I Have This Sequel So Oh Well. This Movie Starts Off As Debbie Benson Goes On The Road To Her Aunt's Ranch Only TO Get Taken Into Custody By The Sheriff. From There She Gets To The Ranch and Finds Out That Her Aunt Runs A Bordello and Becomes A "Model Employee". From There, It's Your Basic Adult Film But The Biggest Surprise To Me Was Seeing Ron Jeremy Before He Gained All The Weight.

This Has To A Forgotten Piece OF Adult Film History Cuz It's A Great Movie and It's A Shame That I Haven't Seen It On DVD. I Understand That There Is A Part 3 and Bambi Woods Also Comes Out In It, But I Haven't Seen It Around on VHS or DVD. Try To Find This Great Flick Wherever Possible Cuz Debbie Does Dallas All Night Long.

New Wave Hookers
(1985)

Hell Yeah, This Is Porn At Its Best
Now First Off, Gregory Dark Didn't Start Off As A Horror Movie Director (See No Evil) or Music Video Director (Bone: Thugs-N-Harmony, Brittney Spears, Xzibit), Him and His Brother (Geoffry Dark) Used To Pump Out Some Of The Best Adult Films To Come Out Of The Eighties. Example Given, New Wave Hookers Is One Of The Dark Brothers' Early Adult Films They Directed and By Far Their Best.

This Film Starts Off With Two Guys Who're Watching A Porno Movie and Fall Asleep Watching It. They Dream That They Are Running A Bordello Named New Wave Hookers Inc., and Send Out Girls To The Customers As Long As They Play New Wave Music To Have A "Good" Time. This Movie Stars Adult Film Legends Ginger Lynn, Jack Baker, Jaime Gillis, Desiree Lane, and Peter North In Erotic Scenes That Make You Wanna See This Movie Again and Again. It's Said That Actress Traci Lords Was In This Movie and Her Scene Was Cut Due To Controversy and Being Underage, But It's Still A Great Movie.

Other Than This Being A Great Movie, It Has A Great Soundtrack As Well With Music From The Plugz and The Sockets. To Get This Movie Now At Days, You Can Purchase A Remake Of This Movie and This Classic Comes With It. I Recommend Throwing Away The Remake and Keeping The Classic Cuz The Remake Has Nothing On The Original. I Give This Movie A 10/10 Cuz This Was The First Porn I Ever Bought on VHS and Recently Got It On DVD.

Halloween
(1978)

The Greatest Modern Horror Classic
The original horror classic from John Carpenter that spawned seven sequels and even a recent remake from Rob Zombie. All were great movies, but we're talking bout the original here so here we go. The plot revolves around a boy who murders his sister on Halloween night and years later goes on a killing rampage murdering a group of babysitters on Halloween night. To stop him, his doctor is the only one who can stop him and will him, but will he be too late to tame or stop the killing machine? This movie is truly a horror classic no one should go with out seeing if you are a horror movie fanatic. Up until the late summer of 1999, with the release of The Blair Witch Project, this movie was the most successful independent movie that spanned two decades. A bigger budget and the right studio were why the rest of the Halloween sequels were all successes. This Horror Fanatic Gives This Movie 10/10.

Creepshow 2
(1987)

Not As Good As Part 1, But Way Better That Part 3
Ah Yes, The Sequel To The Horror Opus CREEPSHOW. Again, George A. Romero and Stephen King Team Up Again Along With Make Up Guru Tom Savini To Bring Us Three Terror Tales of The Horror and The Macabre. Like The Previous Movie There Is A Wrap Around Story Involving Young Billy and His Adventures Dodging Bullies; The First Story Is OLD Chief WOOD'NHEAD About An Old Shop Keeper and His Wife Robbed and Killed by Hoodlums, So It's Up To The Old Wooden Indian To Get Revenge and Take Back The Treasures Stolen; The Second Story Is THE RAFT About Four Teenagers Going On A Road Trip To The Local Lake and Go For A Swim, Little Do They Know An Oil-Slick Like Creature Is Out There and Kills Them All One By One; Finally We Give You THE HITCHHIKER About A Cheating Wife Leaving Her Lover's House and Running Down A HitchHiker Asking For A Ride, The Ghost of The Hitchhiker Keeps Haunting The Woman Until The End When He Gets Even.

The Movie Runs At About 90 Minutes and Yes Is A Cult Favorite Among Horror Genre Fans. Be Sure To Keep An Eye Out For KING Himself in The Third Story of The Hitchhiker. Personally, My Favorite Of The Stories Has To Be OLD Chief WOOD'NHEAD. This Horror Fan Gives This Movie A 8/10.

See No Evil
(2006)

Mindless Horror At It's Best
I'll Admit, This In My Personal Opinion Is A Mindless Horror Movie But It's Entertaining At The Same Time. What WWE Has In Mind With Kane and This Movie Is To Make It In Likes Of Friday THE 13th and HALLOWEEN, and This Movie Has Potential To Become A True Horror Classic Over Time and People Will Remember Glenn Jacobs a.k.a. Kane As A Horror Icon. Now As For The Movie, I Believe There Can and Will Be Sequels That Will Be Entertaining. The Plot and Direction are Good, But Couldn't Vince McMahon Pick A Different Director Than Someone Who Directed Some 80s Porn (Not To Knock Greg Dark). To Me, This Film Is Better That Some Of The Recent Horror Movies So I Give It A 9/10.

Spider-Man 3
(2007)

Not Great
This Is The Third Installment In The Spider-Man Movies and This has To be The Weakest Of the Franchise. There Were Too Many Villains and The Stories Crossing Each Other Didn't Go Well, The Actors This Time Around Didn't Have The Same Spark As In the Previous Movies, More Like They Had To Instead The Wanted To, Sam Raimi Spending Too Much On Visuals Rather Than Making The Plot and Story Interesting. There Were At Least Three Things I Did Like In This Movie: 1) It Was Finally Good To See Venom In A Spider-Man Movie, 2) The Visuals On The Sandman Were Great, and 3) The Story Line Of Spider-Man and Goblin Was Done Well. This Is Great If You Don't Follow The Comics, But As A Loyal Marvel Comics Reader, I Give This Movie a 7/10.

Creepshow 3
(2006)

How Dare They
How In The Hell Could This Schlock Of A Movie Pass Off As A Movie To Begin With and Mariing The Name Of A True Horror Classic Like CREEPSHOW. This Movie Didn't Make Any Sense From Beginning To End, I Mean Was This Even A Movie? How Could Someone Think They Just Slap The Name Of A True Horror Classic and Get Away With It, Example Given HALLOWEEN III: SEASON OF THE WITCH. The Only Difference Between These Two Is That CREEPSHOW III Isn't Entertaining or Attention Grabbing Like Parts 1 Or 2, and At Least HALLOWEEN III Made The Attempt To To Take That Franchise In A Whole Different Direction and Made A Decent Effort In The Movie We Come To Know. I Know You Can't Rate A Zero On This Site so I Give This Useless Movie A 1/10.

Amityville II: The Possession
(1982)

Get Out!!!!
This Movie Offers The Story Behind The Killings Of The Montelli Family That Happened In The Infamous House In AMITYVILLE. Often Movies That Serve Up Sequels Go Down In The Franchise, But This Movie Is A Rare That Equals To The Original With The Priest Reprising His Role and All Them Flies That Indicate The Evil In The House. The Special Effects For This Movie Were Ahead At The Time And Still Hold True To Today's Standard, Not To Mention The Make-Up Effects That Were Used To Make Sonny Montelli Look Demonic and Possessed. I Believe The Real Sonny Montelli Is Still Locked Up Now That I Think About It. A Lot Of People Black Ball This Movie, But As A Horror Movie Fanatic It Kept Me At The Edge Of My Seat And Scared Me For Two Nights. This Movie Has It All, Blood, Gore, Demonic Possession, Exorcisms, What More Can Any Horror Movie Fanatic Ask For In This Movie. Story Wise, Very Excellent For The Amityville Series. Characters, Very Well Played Especially The Sonny Montelli Character. This Is The Movie To See.

Jesse James Meets Frankenstein's Daughter
(1966)

It's So Bad That It's Good
Well It's Been Quite A While That I Have Reviewed A Movie Here, So Forgive Me If I'm A Little Rusty. The Movie Here Is JESSE JAMES MEETS FRANKENSTEIN'S DAUGHTER, A Movie So Bad That It's Good. Of Course It Is Really Frankenstein's Granddaughter We See Here, But Nonetheless A Cult Classic Like BILLY THE KID MEETS Dracula. The Thing I Liked About This Movie Is How In The Sixties Movies Like This Were Phenomenal and It Was A Hoot To See Jesse James Take On The Monster "Igor" Toward The End. Also, I Like The Fact That This Movie Is A Rare Film To Find In Any Video Store. The film Is About 90 Minutes In Length and Fun If You Like Movies Like This.

The Incredibles
(2004)

Probably The Best Pixar Cartoon
First off, Toy Story was good. A Bug's Life was better. Monster's Inc. surpassed them both. However, The Incredibles out did them all and by far is the best of all the Pixar/Disney cartoons. The key idea I got from this movie is that having a family is the best adventure to have even if you are a superhero. The characters are of fine quality and each has their own power that makes them each unique in their own way. First we have Mr. Incredible, the father figure trying to recapture his superhero days in a society where superheroes can't use their powers. Also realizes that you don't need much to be a superhero. Next we have Elastic Girl, Incredible's wife that tries to keep the family together and rescue her husband from danger. Then we have the kids, one who is super fast and the other who can become invisible and make force-fields. Finally, Fro-Zone, a family friend to the Incredible family and sidekick to Mr. Incredible, who has the ability to freeze anything he touches.

The movie is action packed from start to finish with Incredible and Fro-Zone saving people behind their family's backs to the Incredible family united taking on the sinister Syndrome and his evil machines. The theme about this movie has to be that you can't change who you are and that family and friends will always there. Be sure to catch this movie on DVD and watch the hilarious outtakes and extras. Again, this is the best Pixar/Disney cartoon out there.

House of 1000 Corpses
(2003)

Dr. Satan/Rob Zombie saved this
This movie was originally supposed to be released for the spring of 2000 and instead got released three years later. Lion Gate got the right to release this when multiple studios including Universal, gave this movie the AXE. Well onto the movie, this was a decent directorial debut from Rob Zombie and it turned out to be a fairly decent horror movie with a great cast, gore, but a not-so original story line. The part that was very disturbing had to be the beginning with Capt. Spaulding and friends taking care of some robbers and open to the Rob Zombie music with credits. The story drags a bit from that part up until the middle where we discover the true intentions of the Firefly clan and up comes Dr. Satan and his diabolical creation chasing after the lead girl at the end. The make-up effects for Dr. Satan and his creations were well done and the acting from Sid Haig and Bill Mosely were classic and I like that in a good horror movie. The disappointing fact had to be that the movie was supposed to resemble Texas CHAINSAW MASSACRE and it seemed to copy it instead of taking the main aspects of the movie and taking it from there. Still worth a check if you are curious and are a Rob Zombie fan. Still, I recommend The Devil's Rejects.

7/10 stars

The Invisible Man
(1933)

Brilliant from Start to Finish
Ah yes, I remember this sci-fi/horror gem of the thirties brought out by the good folks from Universal. The cult classic that stars Claude Rains as the Invisible Man and Ms. Gloria Stuart as Flora, the girlfriend of the Invisible Man, is a true testament of Hollywood special effects in their hey-day. The story of an unknown man trying to find peace and quite to conduct an experiment and is found out by the townsfolk of the village of Iping. The experiment is that to find an antidote in making him visible again and to sell the secret of invisibility to marry his girlfriend Flora. When invisible, this 'Stranger' turns evil by killing a police inspector, causing disasters, robbing a bank, killing his friend, and outrunning the police in the process. In the end, well I can't spoil it for you or then it wouldn't be a surprise. The movie is about 75 minutes in length and spawned an Academy Award Nominated sequel The Invisible Man Returns with Vincent Price as the Invisible Man. This movie is worth the look if you find it on VHS or DVD.

Lock your Doors and check Windows 'cuz The Invisible Man may be lurking in your house, or is he already there looking at you.
