Werewolf by Night
(2022)

Not a peculiar Marvel
If you are an ardent Marvel fan, this one might blow you away.

Cinematography is not usual for an average Avenger Universe follower, it reminds me of old era horror/monster movies when focus was more on sound and characters rather than location, CGI, graphic affects & colors.

So, for young audience who were born in 2000 's Marvel world and haven't watched anything from old gold cinema period, this might give you a hint of taste of how it used to be (or might turn you off completely).

Otherwise Okay on every part (with average acting by actors), even kids friendly, is a snackable movie, when have about an hour to kill.

Wrath of Man
(2021)

Watchable
Normal Jason Statham movie.

However didn't feIt like a Guy Ritchie's movie...nothing edgy about the storyline or direction which stands out in Guy's stuff and I'm habitual to watch in movies directed by him. It was as if he just wanted to get work post-covid even with a lukewarm performance.

Watch it just because you're fan of Jason-Guy duo & wanted to see Josh back. Don't expect anything further.

Resident Evil
(2022)

Kill the show!
Netflix has ruined the legacy of RE!

Bad script with worst acting skills from actor. Felt like watching a drama movie without feelings between charaters and a poor poor rip-off of a D grade zombie movie.

If Netflix has to pull out of any series this year, this should be it. No more sequels!

The Gray Man
(2022)

Watchable
Not for those trying to find some meaningful script. This movie is a visual treat, both cast-wise and thrilling action-sequence-wise.

It was made just to show that Ryan can do action packed movies and Chris Evans can be a bad guy (which is all CE trying to pull now post Capt. America).

Not complaining about anything, can watch a sequence or two if they up the engaging script factor while retaining the thrill/action one.

Tomb Raider
(2018)

Disaster!
I fell in love with strong, Angelina's-Lara character in the first part. Although those times CGI was limited, Lara came out as a woman who can do it all, and all came to her naturally.

Now, I know this one bombed. Alicia's Lara was weak and just trying to become what it is not from within.

It is good studio didn't come out with this Lara's sequel and put it to rest.

Morbius
(2022)

A big let down!
Was so thrilled watching the trailer that I was eagerly wating to watching this. Then I heard how it tanked on opening. Still wasn't expecting this kind of disaster! Thoroughly suc*s!!

Avoid watching.

Top Gun: Maverick
(2022)

Sequel it deserved
..and one we've been waiting for. Exhilarating second part which keeps you at the edge of your seat till the end. It is made to entertain you to the core.

Love and Monsters
(2020)

Not bad at all
Pretty average package with all the elements of a entertaining movie.

Not bad at all (which I thought it would be). Can give it a watch (if I can watch it, you can too).

Ricky Gervais: SuperNature
(2022)

Meh^2
It's so mediocre that I even forgot that I saw it 2 weeks back and forgot to rate it. Few glimpses of comedy but all-in-all a big disappontment from Ricky.

If you haven't seen it - avoid. That's it.

Moon Knight
(2022)

Had a potential
Given Oscar Issac being the show runner it could have been way better than what it is. These Marvel series are becoming kids' oriented day by day. Need some adjustments there as not just children see it so need some adjustments in storylime to fit grown ups too who have been following Avengers since year one and are now mature audience.

The King's Man
(2021)

Waste of time
Such a bad and a weak prequel. Looks like it was made just to ride on success of its successors but nothing here to see. Story makes no sense and just extends out from one point to another without any logic. Editing was bad, suspense is not such a mystery, it is so on the face.

My expectations were low to start of with but actual watch destroyed it.

Layer Cake
(2004)

Layered indeed
I rewatched it, and fell more in love with this movie. Very underrated one. This movie is fast paced and action filled. Not strong works of the actors but story layering and direction.

Barry
(2018)

Entertainement to the core
It has got all emotions covered - drama, thrill, romance etc. And is Comic with a capital C. All actors play their respective part very well and writing with direction is amazing.

Deserves more popularity and seasons.

Should be watched.

Eternals
(2021)

Long but okay
Not as bad as most reviews said. Deviants' CGI could have been way better. Length or movie duration shorter - there were too many scopes of improvements in storyline. But all in all not expect more from Marvel now in terms of a "good movie" but just entertaining passing of time - this kind of deliverrd.

Marriage Story
(2019)

Totally bored out
As a single, unmarried person this movie was so unrelatable that it bored me to my core. And being so long in duration and too slow felt like an eternity to finish it. Only good acting by both leads kept me going.

Only upside of the movie, you'll be glad to be single (if you are).

Dune
(2021)

Was a treat to watch this one
To start of I have never read the Dune so had no base to compare it with, so it was an excellent movie of 2021 to spend time with fabulous visuals and a few memorable quotes (which I am sure would have been from the novel). And that is where the difference lies I suppose, peope who have read it, expected more - but books and movies can never be compared as individual imaginations while reading differs from one another.

Definitely waiting eagerly for the sequels.

Encanto
(2021)

Just OK
"Just be you" motto is Disney's cash cow and it milks it like no one else. This one again is the old maid in new uniform to handle the kids and glue them in their chairs for a couple of hours. That is it.

Deep Water
(2022)

Nothing was deep about it
Story about a toxic relationship but felt like a story from a cheap novel - the kind sold on railway platforms to keep you up but instead makes you sleep easily on the journey, and the kind you don't pick up reading after a pause or even forget where it lies - with even low effort acting or direction.

Not recommended for a watch (if you crave good story over nudity).

Holmes & Watson
(2018)

No brainer
Literally no one used a single brain cell in making is utter load of tarnation even for one second. And so it uses no brain cell to waste time upon when there is none to spare during stressful situations.

It's not witty, not funny either, just brain fracking nonsense material.

Midnight Mass
(2021)

Bingeworthy
If you start, can't stop watching till the series ends like any other Mike Flanagan series.

Series explored intricate network between moral and religious arenas of life and death with a heavy topping of horror and some drama.

Worth the time.

Red Notice
(2021)

Utter waste of time
Nothing to see here.. keep scrolling to find another..not even worth to kill time.

RR is set in his same old tune, if you have seen any of his stuff post Deadpool - you have seen this. The Rock is as emotionless actor as a rock. And GG was never one for acting.

Suspense factor of movie, any good binger will see from miles ahead.

Just another multi-big-budget-actor stuff from Netflix too sell airtime - don't give into it.

Utter nonsense.

A Quiet Place Part II
(2020)

Strong sequel
Was such a treat to watch it. Beginning was strong and ending, goosebumps. Acting from all actors was too the point and while the first part belonged to adults this one to the kids. Loved the end.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage
(2021)

Entertaining when there is nothing else to do
Weak sequel to an average first part.

Funny a bit but lose in story and direction line. Seems like a music piece where keys go off key for no reason at all in between.

If there is a third part at all, needs a lot of improvement in story, direction and editing.

Daredevil
(2015)

An average Marvel show
I saw it after most of Avenger shows released recently (except Hawkeye), and don't see any lack in comparison to those series besides more money being put in effects/CGIs/production of hyped and beloved Avengers. Infact it was much better than Wandavision.

Nothing too outstanding about the show outside of Marvel universe but both as a part of The Defenders or in comparision to Avenger shows it is good and watchable.

The Unforgivable
(2021)

Watachable once
Mediocre storyline, which was way better directed and wonderfuly acted out by the great cast. So viewers get emotionally invested while watching it.

But felt like this movie was just Sandra Bullock! Rest all the characters (even better in performance) were just supportingto her role.

All-in-all, one time watchable for sure.
