A Journal for Jordan
(2021)

Basic love film base on a true story.
What I loved about this movie. It was simple, not superficial and realistic. The movie is sad and hopeful. In a age where love, respect and finding character seem to be a forgotten quality in finding a mate vs. Lust and Materialism is refreshing. I loved the advice about about finding a women that guards your friendship, honor and pride. What real beauty is about. The advice about being a father and both parents raising a child. This movie kinda hit home for me in that my son is in the US Navy, Station over in Pearl Harbor and he just recently got married..no child yet, but his Mannerisms and values are like Micheal B. Jordan's character. Chante Admas is great in Nostalgic love films. Basic live film with a positive message of hope.

The Harder They Fall
(2021)

Nice to see a Western in 2021!
All Star Cast, Plot Twist on who lives at the end. Nasty mean Villains. Nice to see Blacks in a Western! It's a fictional film, not a Historic Film, people need to be reminded of that. Just wish the plot could have been more deeper.

Sylvie's Love
(2020)

A beautiful nostalgic timepiece love story.
I really liked this movie and the plot. It really makes you feel like it was back in the early 1960's with the nostalgia. Tessa Thompson and Nnamdi Asomugha chemistry is phenomenal. It's a great nostalgic timepiece film and love story. It's great to see black love on the screen.

The Photograph
(2020)

I loved the movie.
This was a very good film with some valuable lessons that can be learned. I know the main focus of the film was supposed to be about Michael and Mae. To me the film was about Christina and Michael. It started off with Christina talking, it went back to her earlier years and her relationship with Michael. It showed promise of the relationship but then the miscommunication and downfall. And then at the end even at the end with Christina passing away, her letter mended the fence where Isaac and explain herself to Mae. So with all that Mae and Michael was the fruit I'm learning from the mistake of Christina Isaac for that relationship to flourish at the end. Basically the film is about history and not to repeat itself. Sometime we get stuck in generational curses. So to meet at fan was about Christina and Isaac. And also the soundtrack to the film was great, especially the opening song by Lucky Daye I saw the movie twice that how much I liked it. Mainly because of the Christina Isaac relationship
