K.G.F: Chapter 1
(2018)

Powerful People Comes From Powerful Places
How many movies we know, that has a protagonist who digs his way to the top, through the land of greed, money and power? Hmm.., a lot isn't it!. Oh., ya it's a universal concept. But how many movies showed the journey of the protagonist through every single frame, through every single character? This is what you can expect from this trending blockbuster KGF.

The tale of a hero, told through every single character that impacts the next scene in the film. I guess, Director unofficially took a new story telling technique breaking the fourth wall of Filmmaking. Believable story, Brilliant visuals, sharp editing and riveting climax sequence sets right beginning for the 2nd part.

Epilogue: It's time to stop comparing Indian movies to Hollywood. We got ourselves a bunch of exceptional storytellers who goes beyond the edge.

Alita: Battle Angel
(2019)

A warrior soul needs a warrior body
Based on the beloved Japanese manga series of same name, Alita: Battle Angel has a heart for its premise and ambition for its conclusion.

While mastered motion capture/live-action sequences, powerful performances and interesting plot setup are brilliantly close to its graphic novel roots, the muddled screenplay leaves the subplots uncleared.Maybe an imminent sequel needs to finish off this uncertain battle.

Venom
(2018)

Venom is a fine wreckage & far from the Marvel Formula.
Marvel's second antihero standalone outing Is dark, gritty and original. Tom Hardy's wickedly fun performance and the odd-couple chemistry with Venom is a fun to watch.

Even with inconsistencies of characters and plain plot holes, Venom stands out as a good start for its own world of sequels like deadpool. It would've been more crazy&messy with the R-rated version.

2001: A Space Odyssey
(1968)

The order of universe told through Stanley Kubrick's cinematic conventions.
An endless epic space journey of evolution.

Its been 50th years and this classic still holds up with thought-provoking themes likes existentialism, extraterrestrial life, human evolution, technology, space and beyond it.

Poetic pacing, jaw-dropping set pieces, pioneering visual effects, minimal dialogues and signifying background score makes it one of those space movies you should not miss.

The Score
(2001)

Scores Good
Marlon Brando, Robert De Niro and Edward Norton in same movie? what else do we need, we already have "the best" on screen. Well, we also need a good story to make a worthy short with these kind of talented actors and that is The Score.

From a slow and settling start to an interesting end, it has standard plot, detailed setup, zero violence and no diversions.

Unsane
(2018)

Soderberg's paranoia experiment is a success.
Shot completely with IPhone 7plus in 4k, steven soderberg's experimental b-movie is a real, slow and annoying psychological gesture throughout.

Eerie cinematography, unsettling atmosphere and curious characterizations take on U.S Psychiatric institutions deception makes it one of those crazy movies.

My Cousin Vinny
(1992)

A sense of humor that you need again and again in your life
One of the best comedies produced by Hollywood. A true classic with brilliant script, terrific performances and witty sequences everywhere.

Joe Pesci and Marisa Tomei are a lightning strike together

Polar
(2019)

You may end up loving it
#Try not to be scared. You make mistakes when you're afraid#

This Dark Horse comics adaptation is a soak in blood path through out. Over saturated framework, swift screenplay, talented but troubled character performances makes it a near possible new action series in the same way as our beloved John Wick franchise.
