A slow paced movie with a clear intention to showcase and build upon a father-son relationship whilst maintaining the realistic mundanity of a fathers life as he navigates through accepting his own mortality and the sacrifices to be made. Both actors make an excellent pair, conveying emotions almost naturally, that you forget they're acting. An honest and compassionate story that can evoke multitudes of feelings and teach you something about life.

The movie starts off all joyful and festive, sticking to what was marketed and promised in the trailer, however that all comes to an abrupt end way too soon. This movie left me feeling more annoyed than it did make me feel happy about a journey meant to be about self acceptance and family. Firstly, I'm shocked to see so many people overlooking and justifying Harper's manipulative and ignorant actions towards Abby. There is a fine line between being afraid to be out and mistreating your partner because of it. She doesn't need to be painted as a villain but she should've had better character development rather than shoving it all in the last 10 minutes of the film and call it a happy resolution. Second, what is up with movies/tv shows casually placing "outings" as the major turning point plus for shock value? Then proceeding to brush it off with a half assed apology from who was responsible, downplaying the seriousness of how wrong it is in the first place. Cliches like that are literally meant for straight audiences. The fact that so many saw Abby and Riley being a potential couple further accentuated the lack of chemistry between Abby and Harper in the long run of the film. The jealousy antics and the overly fake forced heteronormativity that was done to an extent that tormented Abby, only made Harpers character even more dislikable. Yes, this fight/situation alone didn't have to mean they should've parted ways, but given the poor writing choice for putting Abby in the limelight, mostly seeing her perspective makes viewers much more sympathetic for her, making it harder to be so quickly forgiving for everything she had to go through like 3.5/4 of the film. "Everyone's coming out story is different" perhaps the most important line in the whole movie. This movie had its wholesome moments and I see why people enjoyed it but overall for me it just left a sour aftertaste, made me uncomfortable at times for how stressful and triggering it was, but like it or hate it, the film was poorly executed for the themes they wanted to explore and surely shouldn't be regarded as a "romcom".

There's something so intoxicating about this show and how it portrays the flaws & imperfections of the 2 main complex leads with such rawness and openness whilst maintaining such a deep storyline that doesn't seem cynical, but encapsulates something so heart achingly real about what it's like to be in love. Coupled with the melancholic style of atmosphere and music throughout the whole season, it just pulls on your heart strings even more. Not all shows execute the level of realism this show had and I couldn't find a better title than "normal people" to describe it. In my opinion, this show is truly thought provoking and captures the essence of what it is like to be human and in love.

Let me start by saying I didn't have any high expectations for this new season. I knew this season would need to start an entire storyline from scratch and that there would be repetitive elements. So once I watched it, I was saddened to the extreme that my once beloved TV show took such a predictable turn. It's been 2 days since it aired and I still cannot believe what I just watched. This season completely lacked its sense of originality which we all loved from its prior 2 seasons. The plot was a literal copy of the second season ( monster -> closing the gate) with just more "funny" dialogue which was completely unnecessary. It really reduced the show to an over dramatic comedy show. The once great characters were all so unbearable to watch. The only interesting characters were Will, Robin and Dustin this season. So much of the plot was so annoyingly stupid that I couldn't believe the Duffer brothers came up with something like that. They left so many important questions (the Russians) carelessly unanswered just for the sake of progressing the story; which had no real depth. Even as a massive fan I had hoped they would've ended the show at s2 instead of prolonging it. Because clearly they are no longer capable to produce a season that could ever match up to their first. I don't have the slightest clue how they can pull off a S4, part of me doesn't even want to know because of this season's sheer disappointment. Honestly I could go on and on about how many aspects of this season I disliked. But I just can't be asked rn, just needed to vent. I hope this show learns from DARK, a masterpiece of a show which beams with originality and consistent writing. For all these reviewers who say this show is worth 10/10. Go watch DARK and you'll change your mind.

This is coming from a person who doesn't watch horror movies because I'm scared but also cuz I just don't care for the genre much. But this movie was just a honest waste of time and money in my opinion. The pace of the movie was quite slow during the times it led to the jump scares; which were also very mediocre. The character "Daniella" was unbearable to watch. As well as the ending was so stupidly abrupt. It was comparable to the "when she woke up she realized it was all just a dream" scenario. You would expect the characters involved in this movie to be genuinely traumatized after such an event, but no they all were happy as if nothing happened. Also how are people rating this 10/10, do u have any taste in film? Anyways, Smh I just want my money back lmao.

Insanely good, every episode shocks you in ways you never thought was possible. The constant gripping revelations were so unexpected but tied the story so well together. Exceptional and convincing acting skills by the entire cast and tons of heartfelt scenes between different character dynamics. This show is the perfect epitome of a well thought out show, meticulously crafted and executed so well and overall knows where it's trying to advance it's story. This show has revolutionized time travel storytelling and is definitely one of the most smartly and consistently written shows of our time

This was such a wholesome film that it left me in tears at the end. It highlights the necessity of coming together by supporting each other as well as loving each other whichever sexual orientation you are. A beautiful movie that serves as a vessel for progression and change still relevant now.

I first watched this film about 4 years ago and I cried throughout the entire movie. Rewatched it again over the years and cried again and again. This movie really pulls on your heartstrings and makes you feel multitudes of emotions from beginning to end. I have never watched a movie so beautifully tragic like this one. It's definitely a film that I'll never forget.

This last episode quite literally wrecked me to the point where I stayed up the whole night thinking about it. The dialogue in the last few minutes was perfection, I'm going to rewatch it just to write it down. The acting was superb by both Stellan and Jared. When I got into watching this show amidst all the hype I didn't expect myself to be blown away by it. But oh boy was I wrong. This show definitely lives up to it's hype and rating. An actual stunner of a show!

Let me start off by saying this is a very flawed tv show. Season 1 was bearable but season 2 really stepped up it's game. However from an overall perspective, this show left more plot holes than it did solve them. A lot of the content in this show didn't make sense. Not just the virus and the cure, but how it didn't affect any of the characters when they were around him or the environment. I couldn't wrap my head around most of this show's logic. But season 2 delivered with better acting and more intense scenes which allowed me to binge watch it. The last episode of season 2 was what earned this show a 7/10 from me. Nevertheless I'm excited to see where they take season 3 if it's renewed.
