American Horror Story
(2011)

The series that lingers on...
So I watched AHS all the way up to Episode 2 Season 11 but skipped over season 6 and most of 8. I watched season 7 but by this time i just hiped it would get better. One thought comes to mind about AHS. Remember the episode of Happy Days when Fonzie jumped the shark in the ocean? The episode later became synonymous with a TV series lingering on well past its prime. The phrase 'Jump the Shark" is used to describe the producers and the writers selfish attempt to 'cash in' on that proverbial cash-cow that was once their legacy. Think " All in the Family" and "Seinfeld". It is apparent that there are plans for at least two more seasons of AHS. I wish that someone would make the difficult, but necessary decision to pull the plug on AHS, before all of its success becomes diluted and forgotten. The writers have nothing else to prove and should bow out gracefully.

Not Bad at All.
Why all the bad reviews? I thought the acting was good and the plot original and interesting. The ending was really interesting and not at all expected. The only time I thought that Tomaz might be dead is when he was dressed to go out and wore a shirt thst fit perfectly. It seemed to be from a different era as well. Nonetheless. It was a pretty decent indy flick even though I wasn't always able to connect the girl he saved in the woods to the main plot. As well as the scenes with the nun. I'm thinking it was redemption? Otherwise the movie kept my interest and flowed nicely. This movie deserves better than the reviews.

Worthy of so much more
Why are there so many bad reviews? This movie was one of those ' hmm, this looks interesting. But why all the bad reviews" kind of movie. I thought it was highly original, good camera usage, good acting and deserving of a much better rating than 4.x. Just watch this movie!
