Food + thriller+ satire = what's not to love
This movie has everything that anyone would love. You like thriller they got it, you like horror they got it, you like comedy they got it, you like suspense they got it. It's just pure awesome.

For me Anya was the perfect choice for the movie, she has a grace and finesse to her. She's the audience eyes and we see through her and that makes it all the more intresting as we peel the onion of this mystery to find the truth of the answer.

Ray was menacing. Everything he did was spine chilling. The moment he came on you knew that he was the man to look out for. Him and Anya's interaction were very very tense.

Nicholas is so good. Always playing the nerd the way his character develops through the movie is incredible. Never knew he had such range.

All in all its amazing. A little bit over reaching, but horror on point, comedy on point, but most of all Anya's sass super on point.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for everyone who loves horror and thrillers and obviously food.

Thanks for reading.

Top Gun
(1986)

Classic (for a reason)
Since I was born in 2000 and in India, I never knew about Top Gun. It amazed me to hear such unanimous fan following of a movie from '86. I knew Tom cruise was in it and all but I never was an action loving guy. So already the appeal for it was vaining and have been sleepover on it forever. And then Maverick was released and it started getting the same reaction the previous one did so as soon as my exams were over I sat down to watch it, and boy it is a fun ride. Obviously there are stuff in it which shows it's date of release but everytime a dog fight came on it was hype train for real. Characters were good enough and didn't feel too on the nose. And the music just screamed awesome through and through.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for everyone.

Going to watch the sequel Thanks for reading.

This will make you grow up
Nothing lasts forever, everything is momentary. This series taught me to grow tf up. That love has many ways of showing itself. And even if you're apart love persists.

Characters are endearing and eventhough the end is a little tragic I was able to understand everyone's perspectives which is mind blowing work done by the writers of the show.

Special mention to the OST if the series, throughout the series they created perfect scenarios to make you laugh, tense, angry, sad, tear up etc all at the perfect moments.

Also each and every scene of this series is worthy to become a wallpaper. Such beautiful cinematography.

Felt like an anime but with so much more depth.

This show made me laugh, cry, feel all through the run of 16 episodes.

Highly recommended to everyone who love a good romance and slice of life with a pinch of sports drama.

Campus Diaries

Mess that hits hard
It'll definitely take you on a trip through your memories of your college life.

Some parts are obviously weird and doesn't really work but man this story as a whole is awesome. The story is a mess cause college life's a mess. Personally Ritvik Sahore stole the show. Hats down I've been following his work but somehow in this his dialogues regarding his character's love life hit the hardest. Damn good.

Also didn't really expect a foreigner to be acting so seriously and amazingly in this series.

Some character's stories were underused which I hope gets resolved later in future installments.

Hope so there's a season 2 but only with a script that improves upon it.

Ms. Marvel
(2022)

Unpredictable
You go into the series blind, unlike other MCU entries we know nothing about Ms. Marvel. I'm still disappointed with the way they sticked with using light as powers. Could've been a little more darker, I just couldn't stop seeing that it took a lot if effort to keep it PG. Racism was on point and its countermeasures shown.

Its good for one time watch. RECOMMENDED FOR AN MCU FAN.

Modern Family
(2009)

Wholesome
With everything's on the media right now, watching something like this does put some ease on my heart. I didn't knew I needed it until my sister made me watch it and i was hooked from the first episode and if not for few sick days i would've easily finished it earlier.

Obviously certain character development are I'm not so sure about but that's what the show is about: embracing flaws. And its such a treat to see all the child actors grow up to be the amazing person they are now.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Sharmaji Namkeen
(2022)

Age is just a number....or is it?
The story revolves around a middle class family of Sharmas. Recently "voluntarily" retired Sharmaji has nothing to do and to much time to spend. So after lots of shenanigans he finally decides to cook for a small gathering and then the story unfolds.

Late legened Rishi Kapoor Sir and phenomenal Paresh Rawal Sir played the role of Sharmaji and as everyone expects it is a little jarring in the beginning to see the two change places but as the story progresses the switch becomes so seamless you won't even notice it. Both actors add their own charm into the character and make it an awesome character. Every other cast member were overshadowed by this duo but I guess that was the director's intention, to showcase Rishi Kapoor ji's last work.

The story dives deep into the family drama and dynamic but doesn't make you too emotional, it has surprisingly comedic scenes which keep the overall mood light. The stark reality of our society has been also hinted as to how things go around us but it was slightly tip-toed upon. The film speaks volumes about family, passion, society, and relationships.

Certain implied romance sub plots were a miss for me. Also the runtime is slightly long for such a movie.

However its a MUST WATCH for every Rishi Kapoor fan. It's wholesomeness is inescapable and you'll feel light hearted after watching it. It's a fun little movie and you can enjoy it with your family on a weekend.

Deep Water
(2022)

Bad.....I can't explain it....wait...Gone girl parody
Acting by Ben Affleck, Ana de aramas and Grace Jenkins were amazing. But the story was very bad for the lack of better word. Apart from the lead characters you dont connect or understand any other character. Ben Affleck was cold calculative and menacing but in a suave way. Ana de Aramas packed the eroticism with her as she embodies manipulation, Lust in her character. Through this weird duo you were supposed to see a similar-esque film like Gone Girl but with far lesser stakes and no proper dive into the investigation process. Tracy Letts character was downright stupid and didn't make sense.

Also who thought that Ben Affleck and Ana de Aramas make a good couple? I mean if it was intentional then bravo , Job well done but other than that I couldn't ignore the obvious age gap between the leads.

Dont watch it. NOT RECOMMENDED. Watch something else.

Psychedelic
This was a surreal experience.

The story is really good in a convoluted way. There are things that happens on the show that suggest supernatural stuff and others that suggest a mental illness. It was kinda sorta predictable since 2019 has a lot of these kinda shows but what i loved is how they approached the subject. This was so unique experience. And yes, doing it via rotoscope animation makes 100% sense cuz you have to induce these fever dream-ish visuals while still maintaining the flow of the story. Acting was superb. Rosa Salazar, Bob odendrik just stole the show.

This would have been an open ended show where we might just have to think whether it was all a dream or real, but since we've a 2nd season coming this April I'm edging towards supernatural. Unless they pull off a 'Mr. ROBOT' then it would be well lets say good but stale, in a way.

Dragged a little bit in some places.

Super excited for the next season. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

Easy A
(2010)

Pleasantly surprised
Emma Stone shines in this 2010 dramedy, more on the comedy side.

The movie went for real life pattern as to how rumors spread in school/ generally in a place. However the kind of thing Emma's character was rumored off it was a surprising to see their weren't any dangerous implications. Certain aspects( characters) are very bad like Bynes was supposed to be that irritating character but we didn't see her grow or Kudrow's character is not held accountable and we basically have to think on our own.

Emma stone was stellar in this movie. She was amazing from start to finish. Though she felt like a little bit older to play a 17 year old. She however brings the aspect alienation and the craving for recognition beautifully. Certain scenes show us that she can show us the reason why we love Emma stone. Her way of depicting a certain emotion is phenomenal. It also helps that most of the dialogues are very good.

Would have liked if all the other characters weren't wasted liked that.

However I RECOMMEND it to every Emma Stone fan. Anyone who feels the need for recognition (positive/negative).

50/50
(2011)

Satisfyingly realistic
Ok i guess I'm or was on a rom-com spree. But this hit hard.

Joseph Gordon Levitt starring 50/50 turns out to be a solid movie with equal amounts of humor, realism and despair. The realism depicted is pretty fresh. Certain character scenes done are exactly how you'd react when someone you care about gets hurt. How one can be ignorant to be the people who care them. Anna Kendrik is in this and she's just adorable and she's a med student so thats an automatic win for me. Wish we could have had a bit more of her. The death and that despair has been handled perfectly it makes you cry at the perfect moments. Joseph Gordon Levitt really made me think what would happen if I were in that situation and how I'd have to handle it.

Seth Rogen is equal part good and equally on the nose but he provides a good balance to the movie.

Yeah, this movie is pretty good. I RECOMMEND to watch it. No regrets.

The Spectacular Now
(2013)

A beautiful message wrapped in cliche
Just going through some rom-coms in prime and I found this. Saw that it had an amazing cast so I gave it a go.

Story:: The story has a very standard opening for rom-coms. The guy explaining things which is cut to how we end up there. The first half of the movie I personally didn't relate to the guy much as he was one of those "cool" people of school which I wasn't so I couldn't relate. He did stuff that made him look like a jerk and most importantly he didn't seem to have a future. Then comes the female lead who's the exact opposite, kind, dork, nerd character who's secretly beautiful but doesn't know about it. Pretty standard stuff so far. I expected it to be a typical story where the girl changes his life with "love". Well she kinda does and more. I've never seen a female character so well written that I want her. I'm serious I just loved her. She seemed unreal and yet so sweet. Apart from the obvious love story that took place we got to see some amazing character development. The jerk matured to be an awesome guy. I don't know what he ended up doing or what's his future but atleast he figured something out. The girl's awesome, she always had a plan. The rest of the characters are given just enough time to move the story in a certain direction and that's it.

However there was a moment in the movie where I was like so we aren't gonna talk about it, like ever? And they didn't so I was like ok....

Character:: The star cast paid off. I found everyone so good. Shailene woodley was so amazing in this. Miles teller was the heart of the movie and he helped make the story so relatable. Brie Larson was great in it. Mary elizabeth winstead was criminally underused but I guess that was the script. All in all everyone did there jobs right, especially the leads.

Sound design:: nothing spectacular. Didn't really notice it much except for few occasions.

This is a very beautifully written story which packs such an important message so much so that its still relevant now 8 years after its release.

I will DEFINITELY RECOMMEND it to those people who just want something normal, with a beautiful message something to take their minds off and yet understand what's important.

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World
(2010)

Fun...innit?
I know I'm late watching this but hey what can i do Hollywood movies didn't really come to our country that very often 12 years ago.

Story:: The story is so simplistic and easy to follow but was made so much fun that it made it amazing. It's jam-packed with awesome fight sequences and hilarious jokes. You'll feel as if you're in a comic book. 12 years later however the main plot however doesn't really hold up well. Now don't get me wrong its great stylisitically but when we come to the main story it shows us how much societal norms has changed in the last decade. This movie was also released during the whole nerd guy rom-com phase so you can totally see how this movie is so critically acclaimed. If I had been a mind numbing fun it might have been but that's just me i guess.

Characters:: The cast are studded with Hollywood A listers. It's amazing to watch so many actors in the same movie and you realise where they've come to now and feel the whole surreal-ness. Like this movie has Anna Kendrik, Aubre Plaza, Brie Larson and none of them are the main female lead is mind blowing and yet it makes me proud to think how much they've grown. And let me get it out of the way but I just love Mary Elizabeth Winstead, she's so good. She has been given to play a cool aloof character to play and she plays it to the T. I probably fell in love with her again. Michael Cera is in the center of it and you know Michael Cera plays the character of a nerd who's in a rock band and stuff. Still surprising how a tall lanky nerd got to score with some many women but alright. I guess that's just 2010 self insert.

Sound:: oh the music in this movie is just perfect. I loved it from start to finish. How well it could match up with this over the top story is unbelievable. The band songs where so good and eventhough the lyrics are meh but the beat and the composition is good you'll have to head bob all the way.

It's fun movie. Don't watch it if you have a lot of important problems in your own life. This is just supposed to be "Shut your mind and have fun" movie. Don't think too much and let the anime + games aesthetic draw you in.

I also wanna say that the anime style cinematography was so well done here and its incredible to think this was 12 years ago.

I recommend to watch it once as its an all time classic, with all your favourite actors in the same movie with amazing story and music for an awesome movie night with friends.

Jigeum uri hakgyoneun
(2022)

Korean series always hits it out of the park
To be honest I was not really interested about starting a series about zombies, the entire concept has been so dragged out that it starts feeling stale. There always are exceptions with ridiculously funny Zombieland and masterfully directed Train to Busan( which is by far my favourite zombie movie).

For a series the 1 hour mark was daunting for me as an hour is almost half the runtime of a movie. But after the 1st episode I was hooked so if you are scared of the runtime don't worry if you finish the 1st episode you'll want to watch the next and then next. It however feels like a commitment.

The story as we can except from a kdrama was top notch, except the ending. The motivation was spot on for the development of the zombie virus( not a spoiler as that's how it's). Though the science behind it I'm a little iffy about it, however emotionally it made sense. The friendships throughout the series were so good like there was a rollercoaster of emotions involved. An irritating villain who just keeps coming back. The heartlessness of people we have to depend upon, and the will to survive. I wanna make a special note that the romance is so adorable and beautiful that you want to protect all of the ships but the world it's set-up is so cruel that you end up broken anyways. Which brings me to the ending, as the show came to a close certain deaths seemed like they just happened to be killed to attain a certain route without any development which made those deaths cheap. Also after such a harrowing experience, you'd expect a good/wholesome ending but even that was stripped from us, so basically PAIN + PAIN.

Characters were amazingly written. Like always whenever a zombie movie starts you bey on who's gonna survive, I did that too. Most of my guesses were right but I was surprised to see which one of them. As i have said you'll feel the beautiful friendships, you'll feel the romance which then will intensify the pain. Although certain characters were so useless that they just randomly died and no one from the cast seemed to care later. I found it funny and as a glitch as all the characters were saying they gotta be like a family. So that's a negative. Some moves weren't very logical and I should expect that with zombie movies but when other aspects are so good you end up expecting more. Like there's a scene where a laptop is supposed to be procured it was alright but it had unnecessary tension build up. After that scene we got into the human emotions stuff and that made me forget that scene. But still.

Sound design is very well. The way background music can convert a scene from terrifying in a moment to comedy is pretty good. Music plays amazing role in the emotions that we see on screen. Romance, comedy, horror, friendship, sadness, despair everything.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you to watch this series, it took me about 2 days to finish it but you can finish it in one. The end is unsatisfactory but you'll still enjoy it. Hope a sequel is released ( which probably will not since it's a Korean series which are mostly limited).

The Death of Superman
(2018)

Misguided emotions
The death of superman was a good movie. It gave us the emotional ride required for us to feel the emotional end. But there are flaws, big flaws. Doomsday shows out of nowhere and eventhough we know he came via a boom tube so darkseid is involved nothing is said about it. Like what's the origin of Doomsday where does it come from what's it purpose. Nothing just a random killing machine.

Lois and Clark's whole relationship seemed like it was started just for this movie seeing how unpopular Clark X Diana turned out to be. Like nothing was shown as how the previous couple broke up, how the new one got together, or how much Clark and Lois love each other. Nothing, just slapped us with this new development and hoped we'd like this.

I understand that this was a superman centric movie and hence we got more superman but the justice league were downright pathetic. I mean in their individual plotliines they turn out to be awesome so why not now. Like we didn't get one single bright idea from Bruce. Why didn't he use the Kryptonite he keeps around himself? Was losing anyway, why not give it their all?

And why the heck did they bring back Superman in the same movie!!! Like even BvS waited for another movie to bring him back, in the end we see a hovering figure over Supes memorial and ofc we all know that its superman, precisely the all gone crazy one but supes nonetheless.

It was however a better experience than the previous renditions of superman deaths but still felt stale sometimes.

My verdict ::6/10.

(2022)

Ok.....
Concept was good and start was fine. I liked the slow buildup. Kravitz plays the character amazingly well as someone with Agoraphobia.

Lots of plotholes are there in the story. Other characters are very lack luster. The well antagonists are pretty generic.

I'm well a sucker for these kinda stories where the story ends on a positive note but this was kinda too out there like i have seen too many other movies to know that this is not how it should have ended there were too many "coincidences".

And i dont know why but i was unable to get into the thriller mood, it certainly piqued in the last 30 minutes or so but in the back of my mind i was like "oh so this what the whole story was about. I just wasted an hour." Well I'd recommend it to well someone who has an understanding of people with such mental health or just are curious to know. Kravitz did an awesome job so you can easily watch the movie for her. It is an alright movie to put in the background.

House of Gucci
(2021)

Shines like a fake diamond
You come into the movie expecting to see the best biopic of the year filled with crime drama politics what you get is a trainwreck.

Lets get to the good points, cinematography was good it really did focus on what was actually going on. Music and sound design was not to over the top to take you out of the scene so I will take it as a plus. Leto's transformation into Paolo was fabulous, I didn't recognize him until the credits rolled. Every actor, Lady Gaga, Al pacino, Adam Driver, Salma Hayek played there roles perfectly.

Since it was a predominantly a story about an Italian family doing fake accents all throughout the movie really ticked me of. The story could have been more captivating if it was shot in it's own language. Character development throughout the movie felt lost. The story had such a good start, it gave you so much so perfectly but the familial drama and manipulations that the later half had to deal with was rushed to the point where I felt like laughing at the most wrong times. The way the final act played out was almost comical and even though the movie has a gargantuan 2 hours 37 minutes run time it fails miserably to show the descent of Gucci.

You start of sympathetic for Patrizia and Maurizio but it slowly transforms into something confusingly weird and later you don't know who what or how this happened (not in a good way, trust me). You start liking Patrizia, but then you hate her for what she's become and then you become sympathetic for Maurizio but that too doesn't work.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND to watch this movie as it's exhaustingly long with next to no returns for you. You will forget about it.

Thanks for reading. See you later.

tick, tick...BOOM!
(2021)

A musical with a good story
I never in my life liked Broadway shows and I was always confused as to why famous actors would want to go do Broadway shows etc. It didn't make much sense to me...but that's just me.

The movie has a very good story and is fantastic in many aspects. I didn't know that it was a biopic, well it was very well written...at certain moments. Andrew Garfield was amazing, without him I don't think it would've worked. He gave his usual positive energy as always but you could see hints of old age as the character has been depicted, so it was a perfect blend. High energy in things the character liked, tired in everything else.

As an artist would the phase of writer's block is very well shown and how at high pressure moments inspiration is found was shown very nicely.

Facing a multitude of problems at once, which is how is the normal; you have problems in your work, with your friends, your girlfriend etc basically procastination was shown amazingly. The fear of failing was quite good.

The music was pretty good. However I didn't really like the lyrics and felt very childish at times maybe because what was being sung was shown on screen so it kinda took you away from the show. But music composition was stupendous.

For me the story started 35 minutes after movie started. The setup was very slow, it did pay off in the end but it took a hell of an effort for me to stick through it. After that it felt good.

The tense moments were good but somehow I didn't feel the gut wrenching pain I should've.

Andrew was fantastic and he himself is reason enough for watching this movie. So for every Andrew stan I'd recommend watching it.

Don't Look Up
(2021)

Humans are stupid, right?
The story is simple and everything is laid out perfectly, the obstacles in the whole story is character driven politics which make you think how irritatingly pointless these political stuff is but in retrospect its what differentiates us from chaos and anarchy, keeps us disciplined......right?

The movie does an amazing job showing how much you struggle it won't matter as long as you lack money. But why not try once, its not like the world's ending right?

How it shows that a crisis, an apocalyptic event also needs to be digestible and gift wrapped so that its easy for us to swallow down reality.

The dark humor was so on point. What I really wanted was a solution, maybe I'm a hopeless optimist but I still want to believe in people. That doesn't mean I would believe the first person i see on the street saying the world's ending and i ask you not to do the same if you don't want to get scammed. This just shows how much distrust we have on the system and yet we won't take any action ourselves unless the people up would do something.

I'll however tell that the ending of the movie is perfect, how it shows that in the end family is what stands for you no matter what. There are so many other interpretation of it but lets just go for an optimistic sounding one.

Movie is good, amazing acting, nice message, sound design is forgettable, cinematography was alright no particularly memorable scenes, pretty forgettable if you ask me. But a step in the right direction, movies like these might help us getting the answers that this movie lacked. Lets just hope its not too late.

If you like social commentary, satire, dark comedy, with a bit of sci-fi watch this.

Thanks for reading. See you later.

The Lighthouse
(2019)

Amazing
You go into this movie expecting an artsy flick which you won't understand and would have to watch it 4~5 times to get the gist of but Robert Edgar made this fantastic movie which looks artsy with fart jokes🤣. Seriously this is a movie which has a proper combination of thriller and psychological mind boggling-ness. Its not a Nolan movie where you'd end up questioning your own intelligence but it aint no run of the mill movie either. There are so much symbolism that I lost count. So many interpretations that I think the original plot might get lost. And eventhough it sounds a mess of a movie its so beautifully crafted that its a masterpiece. I thought that the first half of the movie was slow but damn I was wrong it was just the calm before the storm. When things started unraveling it didn't stop and everything shown earlier connected to later plots. There are still a few things i still dont understand and I'll love to go through it again. The acting done by Pattinson and Dafoe are phenomenal. I'm so proud of Pattinson especially I can't explain. Dafoe had always done the best and this movie showed some of his heights of cinematic acting skills. The cinematography and the choice for the visual ratio as well as black and white color scheme is just awesome and matched well with the story. The sound was both blaringly loud at times as well as soft at times that made this movie so much more better. This is so good with a perfect blend of dark humor and psychological thriller not so much horror but just about perfect.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to everyone who loves movies in general as this is the type of movie which turns out as a classic in history.

Daredevil
(2015)

The show we deserve
Rarely we get perfect casting for comic book characters and most renowned ones are the ones who wear down on us through time, however this series introduced characters who were perfectly cast Charlie Cox as Murdock, Vincent DeOnofrio as Fisk, John Bernthal as Castle, Elodie Yung as Elektra, Wilson Bethel as Poindexter are few of the exceptionally amazing casting. Fits like a glove is the term, right? But the side characters are so good, I really didn't enjoy Debroh Ann Woll's character development, season 3 gave us a special insight into her character which was amazing. Elden Hensen's character was less used compared to Ann Woll's but it was very well done too.

The story is very well done. The suit used by Matt during the start and the end of the series shows a DIY suit (basically black sweatshirt and pants and scarf on his head) which really grounded his character eventhough he has this crazy powers, which also were very well done. Same goes for the villains none of them have any over the top powers and everything feels very real and very close like it could actually be happening in some part of the world. The world building is pretty good and isn't just background but quite interactive. Side characters which are introduced were amazing namely, Rahul Nadeem, Father Lantom etc somehow they bring forth the soul of the story.

The sound design is very well not too excessive and over the top. It will hype you up when needed, tense you up, make you feel sad but all the while never overtake the scene and that's amazing.

Cinematography was on point. There wasn't any shaky cameras used or if done where very skillfully handled. It wil give you the vibe of the Nolan's Batman fighting in the alleys, that street fight kinda vibe.

Everything is to love about the series. I docked some point cause the season 2 was a bit if mess and didn't quite mix well and there were a few decisions made by some characters which don't really make a lot of sense.

But this is a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED show. And i ask of you to give it your time you won't regret it. Thanks for reading. See you later ✌

Vincenzo
(2021)

Pretty good power fantasy
Well this show was my first watching K-Drama and it was an amazing journey. The comedy was on point, which if not done correctly would have come of as cringey. Drama was there throughout the story and oh my god Vincenzo was awesome.

Now lets see what I didn't like. The story was pretty generic and was predictable but that doesn't make the series bad what makes it bad is over stretching it. The entire story could have been completed with half the run time but there were so much filler. There's a sub-plot of the story which is supposedly very important but by the end of the series it turns out to be literally of no use. Too many glaring plot holes but I'm ready to ignore them because Vincenzo is awesome. That's also a problem in the pursuit to make Vincenzo great they made him not human, same goes for the villain. Other characters were good. Everyone else felt distinct and unique.

It was clear that the writers cannot write a simple Romance subplot, which was disappointing as the actors were very beautiful and played there parts well but bad writing hurt their chemistry. The music is good and sound design is nice. Cinematography is very stylish and at times on the edge of being too much but i liked it.

All in all, way too exhausting( about 26 hours and 40 minutes) but yeah you'll enjoy it..and forget it too. I gave it a good score as the comedy held the show together, eventhough the story felt overstretched at times multiple twists will keep you hooked, don't expect to get closure in romance side, message given is " Money, intelligence, good looks, and ruthlessness if present then anything is possible" as if no one knew that.

Thanks for reading.

Dhamaka
(2021)

Great concept
Very well acted and it really gives you the feeling that the whole world is closing in on you, but the motivations for most of it was lacking. The romance plot apart from the beginning (kasoor was an amazing choice) was flat and didn't feel important aur as monumental to Arjun's life as it should have been. More importantly the entire investigation didn't produce the fact that the culprit isn't who he said he is ?!! The fact that media is just shark and will sacrifice anyone even one of their own was shown amazingly but as you write the movie, and more so a movie like this which has a message, you start with a problem, you show its side effects, then you show the symptoms and how it's infecting everyone, then you start negotiating, and in the end you treat it or atleast make notes to prevent such a case in future. In this movie, it had everything from the disease to the symptoms and the spread of infection but there was no cure or treatment or even ways to prevent it.

That's the only reason i took some points, otherwise amazing acting by Kartik and the one who played his boss and Anand Mahta ( sorry i dont remember there real names) were played phenomenally. Some minute details where also amazing.

I hope Netflix realises that this was very close to a masterpiece and learns from it.

Thank you for reading this.

Arcane: League of Legends
(2021)

Almost perfect
Everything's just amazing the visuals, the music, the voice acting, the animations perfect. The story is also very intresting and makes you coming for more. The story was build up very carefully and has a proper setup, execution and the finale. The villain (I won't say the name will be revealed by episode 3 end) was very reminiscent of the joker in more ways than other, their thinking just makes the world looks even worse and you can relate to them..if you want to. Though their descent i.e. To say when its finally revealed who we have to look out for is a bit flat and I did take some points for it, but their unpredictability throughout the rest of the series is a treat.

The other characters are all very well written some better than others but every character has been given the care they deserve according to their role in the grand scheme of the story.

The way to integrate magic and science was amazing and how the pursuit of the greater good leads to politics and the things it entails were amazing. Every character (atleast those whose names you'd come to remember) are amazing in their own way, theirs lawful good, lawful chaotic, lawful neutral. This show also shows that one who has knowledge will be the one to govern but if they are naive they could themselves become tools.

There are great character moments throughout the series and the story depends upon it a lot and it works. I keep coming back for it more and more. Be it father-daughter dynamic on either side if spectrum, or concept of friends and brotherhood all of it is done well.

There were 2 romance subplots in this series one was executed, not well though, it was rushed and even by the end of the series it made me believe that one of the partners was manipulating the other. The other couple hasn't even been established not even in the series but they both shared so many character moments that it was kinda frustrating. Look I'm all for slow burns and stuff but you can get a bit impatient when the only source of romance is just teased and not made official.

All in all an amazing series, highly recommended to everyone, of course you don't need to know about the games to watch the series otherwise i wont know anything. Can't wait for the next season.

Eternals
(2021)

New yet the same.
The movie has the usual Marvel stuff but yet it feels fresh. Its different from others yet feels the same. Though the explanation of why they weren't involved more and helped more is lacking. You get more emotionally invested in the characters than you've been in the past MCU. There's more intimacy than a standard MCU movie which is a lot😂 but it's nice to see that the movie doesn't hide it. Much more representation, a LGBTQ character introduced ( I think it's the first in any major superhero universe, correct me if I'm wrong), we also got a character who is specially-abled.

I will definitely recommend it to someone who is tired of the usual MCU troupes and want something fresh, and anyone who loves the old formula don't worry you will have more than enough of that too.

MCU is turning a new leaf, let's support them and see where it leads us.
