Fluppy Dogs
(1986)

My favorite childhood movie!
I love this movie. I used to watch it religiously. The story and characters are unique and lovable. Kids can really relate to the main two characters, and who doesn't love cute cuddly talking "Fluppy" dogs?

My father managed to record it on VHS when I was 3 so I could watch it whenever I wanted.

I really think Disney should have released a 20 year anniversary DVD of this movie. Its too bad, because this will probably fall through the cracks even though it is one of the best Disney moves of all time.

I need to dig out my VHS and transfer it to a DVD so one day my children will be able to enjoy it as much as I did.

Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories
(2005)

GTA style still shines through
While this game isn't on the grand scale of GTA: San Andreas, it still holds true to the normal GTA style. Its missing the "RPG" aspects of GTA:SA, like improving skills and eating to stay healthy, but its a nice throw-back to the good ol' days of GTA: just shoot, steal, and stay alive. But it was originally a PSP game, and I don't have a PSP, so I'll just be grateful they ported it. I also hope they port Vice City Stories to PS2 at some point, even if its not for a year like with LCS.

One thing that's nice is that the game is set in the same old Liberty City as GTA III, but with the graphics quality of San Andreas. There's a cleaner, enhanced look to the buildings, vehicles and characters. Its nice to see a new face on an old city.

The only thing that bugs me is the lack of a good radio station. This game is supposed to be set in 1998, and I remember a lot of good music from those days, which is absent from the game. I just turn the radio off every time I enter a vehicle.

I give it an 9/10. Its not San Andreas and I'm not expecting it to be. I think its an excellent game in its own right, and the only thing better would be decent radio stations.

The Wicker Man
(2006)

I have absolutely no opinion on this movie.
I see a lot of movies and always have an opinion on what I see, good or bad. Not on this movie. I can't say anything good or bad about it. I didn't think it was a bad movie, but it wasn't a good movie either. I give it a 3/10. I consider Mel Gibson's "Passion" to be a 1/10 (or lower) and any senseless gory horror movie a 2/10 (think Saw II).

My props to Nick Cage for taking on a role that could potentially end his career. But I doubt enough people will see this movie to care anyways. He luckily redeemed himself with an excellent role in the 9/11 movie, which was released around the same time.

I still recommend seeing this, but only out of morbid curiosity.
