- A scientist and his nephew are hosts of Lana, queen of the Amazons. Meanwhile, other white men penetrate the Brazilian jungle, wishing to find and take the legendary Amazons' treasure.

As a result of his investigations, Mariel becomes dangerous to the police. He is arrested but manages to escape. He starts to live in hiding. Margarida Maria is admitted to a hospice and dies of cocaine overdose. Mariel is again arrested but continues to threaten Lucio Flavio, also detained by police. Both are in different prisons. The war continues between the prisons.

- In Rio de Janeiro, more specifically in Copacabana, the sixteen year-old rebel and reckless teenager Marcelo is a terrible student that plays hooky from school and a liar. He dreams on leaving his home and move to São Paulo to work hard, make money and travel abroad to visit the world. Marcelo worships his cousin, who is rich and lives in São Paulo after visiting many countries. Marcelo's father Anacleto is a bureaucrat that has been recently promoted and wants that Marcelo works with him in the office; his girlfriend is Renata, who studies in the same class; and his best friend is Miguel Luiz that Marcelo calls Zé Miguel whose wealthy parents are always absent, traveling in Europe. When Marcelo schedules to spend the afternoon in Floresta da Tijuca with Zé Miguel, Renata and her friend Carmen, they steal the jeep of Miguel's cousin and Marcelo drives to a remote area. But the jeep has mechanical problems and they have to spend the night in the forest. Meanwhile, their parents call the school and find that they had lied about the exams at school triggering consequences for their acts. Marcelo is spelled from school, Renata breaks with him and he decides to hitchhike to São Paulo with Miguel. But when they are hungry on the road, they reevaluate their plans.
- The womanizer Bira travels from Rio de Janeiro to Vila Velha to spend vacation in the Hostess Hotel that belongs to the family of his friend Sérgio. In the hotel, Bira befriends the Italian Stefano, who is facing a problem with the relationship with his wife Marta, and Bira advises him to keep distance from Marta for a couple of days. When Bira sees the guest Verônica in the hotel lobby, Sérgio explains to him that the sophisticated woman is the faithful wife of Dr.Sampaio and he would have no chance to flirt with her. However, Bira invites Stefano to go with him to Vitória in his car since he intends to meet Verônica that is shopping with her driver Jorge. When Verônica asks Jorge to blow a speck of dust in her eye, Bira believes they are kissing each other and he tells Stefano. However, the maid Penha sees the two men in the car from such angle that she believes they are kissing each other. Penha spreads the rumor in the hotel and Verônica and other local women decide to have sex with Bira to "heal" him.

- Afraninho and Malu need to close deals with foreign industrialists to get money. For that, he makes his wife have sex with the alleged partners. Otto arrives in Brazil to set up a urinal industry. He will only release the money to Afraninho after going to bed with Malu. The couple will host him at their home in Petrópolis. They ask the maids to prepare a good national dish of Brazil, but a maid convinces Petrarch, Otto's loyal employee, to run away with the business money. With that, Afraninho's plan goes down the drain, forcing the couple to try a new business in São Paulo.
