- Loosely inspired by Dostoevsky's CRIME AND PUNISHMENT, 'DISSOLUTION' combines an almost surreal fairy-tale energy with brutal black and white realism to explore the condition of violence which permeates contemporary Israeli society. Shot in Jaffa-the predominantly Arab area of Tel Aviv- the movie follows the moral collapse and first glimmer of redemption of a young Israeli Jew, played brilliantly by non-actor, Didi Fire. This is a deeply personal work about one man's inner journey, but can also be read as an allegory about Israel's moral responsibility...as well as a portrayal of male violence towards a devalued feminine.
- A gripping documentary detailing tales of incredible courage and cowardice in the aftermath of the 2000 Seton Hall Fire in New Jersey.
- A comedy centered around a newly divorced guy (Wolff) who moves in with his son (Dean) and joins him on the singles scene.
- In 2006, 'NSync's Lance Bass came out publicly as gay. Once the "most beloved son" of his home state of Mississippi, he was instantly rejected and his hopes that Mississippi could ever embrace change were dashed. Then in 2010 he heard the story of Constance McMillen, 18, who was suing her school for denying her the right to go to the prom with her girlfriend. Something was shifting even in the most socially conservative states in America. MISSISSIPPI: I AM, examines the relatively new battle on the part of primarily young LGBT people to bring gay civil rights and visibility out in the open and beyond division.
