Alita: Battle Angel 2 Gets Exciting Update From Robert Rodriguez

Alita: Battle Angel 2 pushes through with director Robert Rodriguez and producer James Cameron in renewed talks to develop sequels.
Rodriguez said it would now be easier to film the sequel to Alita: Battle Angel, now that 20th Century Studios resumed production after its acquisition by Disney. "Jim and I always talk about how we'd love to do another Alita," he said in an interview with The Wrap. "That studio [20th Century] was bought by another studio [Disney]. They're starting to make movies now. But that for a while 20th Century wasn't making any of their movies. I think now you're seeing a few rolling out. We would love to." The director's comment confirms a previous report that James Cameron has sequels planned for the live-action movie.
