The gone-too-soon category of television series will always have Firefly at its top. The series wasn’t allowed the luxury to run more than a season at Fox. However, the single season of Nathan Fillion’s show went on to gain a cult following for its premise and world-building. While Fillion is still not happy that the series didn’t get the respect it deserved, he might be satisfied with the single season run of the series.
