The rise of John Cena has been one of the most inspiring stories in WWE. A kid who came from the streets of West New Bury, Massachusetts, scratched and clawed his way to become the biggest WWE star of his generation and now is called by many as ‘The Greatest of All Time.’

John Cena’s ascension to the main event began in 2005. He faced John Bradshaw Layfield in his first WWE title match at WrestleMania 21 and won the high-stakes match to take his first steps as the next Franchise Player of the global juggernaut.

However, as the next WrestleMania came by, John Cena was set to face the newest member of the WWE Hall of Fame, Triple H, putting the WWE title on the line. It was around the build up of that feud that fans began to turn on Cena and boo him on numerous occasions.
