After all wild speculations and two days of wrestling madness, WrestleMania 41 met its due conclusion. With two massive twists rocking the WWE Universe in a span of two days, to lighten up the mood, The Roast of WrestleMania was brought in. It was a non-televised show hosted by WWE, labelled as an ‘out-of-the-box’ project slated to happen at the BleauLive Theater in the Fontainebleau Las Vegas hotel.

With the fans still trying to make sense of the insane wrestling action they witnessed, this comedy show served as a mood-lightener for all of them. At the end of The Showcase of Immortals, there were complaints that WWE somehow failed to deliver the hype created in the last iteration of Mania. The Rock’s absence and the lack of a few incredible twists hither and yon somehow dampened the spirits of the fans.
