Mike and Greta mistake Loco's new acquaintance Tom Brookman as penniless and throws him out of their penthouse. When they discover he is very wealthy they try to smooth things over.

To raise money, the ladies sublet their apartment to three musicians, but a romantic obstacle occurs.

With bills mounting and their bank balance dwindling, the girls enlist the aid of a slick and fast talking press agent, Jack Connors, played by guest star Morey Amsterdam. But, all hell breaks loose when the inexperienced handy man blows a fuse in the basement, completely destroying the buildings electrical wiring, air conditioning system and elevators.
