The atmosphere feels raw and real - that's what I felt all the way through. Eerily similar to our world, but fresh. You can tell a lot of passion went into every part of it. The characters are layered and interesting, and even without huge flashy scenes, the tension keeps building in a way that really grabs you.
It's just got a gritty style that makes everything feel more grounded and believable. You're always wondering what's going to happen next. Definitely one of those films that proves you don't need a massive budget to tell a gripping story. Action scenes are good, music is cool. Great group of actors. Just a really solid film.

The Wolf of Wall Street is just pure chaos in the best way. Scorsese absolutely nails the energy, and DiCaprio gives one of his best performances - you can't take your eyes off him. It's wild, funny, insane, and somehow still feels real underneath all the madness. The pacing is insane too - even though it's a long movie, it flies by because you're just glued to the screen.
Every single scene has something crazy or hilarious happening, but it never feels random. It's sharp, stylish, and way more clever than it might seem at first. Easily one of Scorsese's most fun and unforgettable movies. Possibly my fav.

Se7en is one of those movies that just gets under your skin and stays there. The atmosphere is so dark and heavy, you feel like you're trapped in the rain-soaked city with the detectives. The performances are top-notch - Pitt and Freeman are perfect together, and every scene feels tense without overdoing it. The story moves at just the right pace, keeping you hooked the whole way without ever feeling rushed. It's smart, chilling, and really makes you think. Even if you know the ending, the journey there is what makes it so powerful. A true classic if you like thrillers that actually leave a mark.
