Excalibur is just epic in every sense of the word. I can't stop thinking about the shining armour. The costumes are just brilliant. The visuals are stunning, the music is intense, and the whole thing feels like a dark, beautiful dream. It's not a "clean" or polished fantasy - it's raw and weird in the best way.
The story moves at its own pace, but you're completely locked in the whole time.
Everything has a real mythic feel. It's one of those movies that sticks with you long after it's over. If you're into old-school, legendary fantasy, Excalibur is a must-see. But I just love the commitment of everyone in it. They give it their all. So good.

Willow is pure adventure from start to finish. It's got that classic fantasy vibe that just pulls you into the world right away. The characters are super likable, the story moves at a great pace, and the world feels full of magic without ever getting too over the top. They nail it in this regard.
The effects might be old-school, but they totally add to the charm. It's one of those movies that just keeps you hooked because you actually care what happens. You can feel the heart in every scene. If you're into fantasy at all, Willow is a must-watch. Val Kilmer is at his best. Music is great too, so are the costumes.

Warlord is one of those movies that really pulls you in and doesn't let go. The story feels fresh but familiar in the best way, and the world-building is seriously impressive. I especially liked the use of magic, not too much, but just enough.
The performances are strong across the board, and the visuals have this gritty, lived-in feel that makes everything more real.
The pacing is tight too - it always feels like something important is about to happen, and you're just glued to it. You can tell a lot of care went into every part of it, from the costumes to the music. Definitely worth checking out if you like smart, grounded fantasy.
If you're expecting some Spiderman action, this is obviously an indie and you can see they worked with what they had. Which they did really well.
