I just saw the film and I really loved it.

I remember that the book (which I read a long time ago - maybe some 10 years ago or something) was really funny and I enjoyed it so much that I had to buy it. However, I do not remember the end of the book, but I am 101% sure it was not like in the movie.

Anyway, I liked the setting. Everything religious is very appealing to me, though I am not religious myself.

The acting is great. The pace of the film is just how it is supposed to be. Very artistic. Maybe they should have just filmed more scenes of the Sistine chapel. But maybe it was not filmed in the real one.

All in all, I recommend both the book and the film!

Well, the first thing after I finished the movie was to see who was this architect and surprise, surprise, surprise ... He never existed and this was not after a true story or something. So, for that reason alone, I have to guve it to the ones who made this film... It made it to be very believable that it is based after a real artist, like it was Van Gogh or Renoir or Rothko or Gaudi... Although it is over 3 hours, I did not feel it as if it was that long. So that is a plus. I think the acting was good, but Lazlo's wife was overdramatic sometimes and that was not really belieavable. But the most 'off' scene was that rape scene. That was so not true to life and I was surprised they actually left it!!! And I will not get into the details.

All in all, 8 from me. I really liked the artistic vibe of the film.

This got to have 10 just for the soundtrack! Can't fight the moonlight is just so well known now, even outside US. But I like the story. The main couple is cute. Everything is cute and it is just one of those carefree films. Perfect for friday night.

Give this to Whitney Houston or Mariah Carey is such a nice line... and all those cassettes, then a CD! This is like going down in history of music.

Unbelievable by KLF I need you tonight by INXS Just really great soundtrack overall as I said in my very first sentence... I am surprised that LeeAnn Rimes song actually was not a bigger hit on the charts.
