22-year-old Elliot Rodger killed six people and injured fourteen others—by gunshot, stabbing and vehicle ramming—near the campus of the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), and then killed himself.

Rodger stabbed three men to death in his apartment, apparently one by one on their arrival. About three hours later, he drove to a sorority house and, after failing to get inside, shot three women outside, two of whom died. He next drove past a nearby deli and shot a male student inside to death. He then began to drive through Isla Vista, shooting and wounding several pedestrians from his car and striking several others with his car. He exchanged gunfire with police twice, and he was injured in the hip. After his car crashed into a parked vehicle, he was found dead inside with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

He used Two knives, a Glock 34 handgun and two SIG Sauer P226 handguns.

During a Bible study at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church, Roof killed nine people, all African Americans, including pastor and state senator Clementa C. Pinckney, and injured one other person. After several people identified Roof as the main suspect, he became the center of a manhunt that ended the morning after the shooting with his arrest in Shelby, North Carolina. He later confessed that he committed the shooting in hopes of igniting a race war.

He used a Glock 41 .45-caliber handgun

Earnest fatally shot one woman and injured three other persons, including a rabbi outside of a synagogue in Poway, CA. After fleeing the scene, Earnest phoned 9-1-1 and reported the shooting. He was apprehended in his car approximately two miles from the synagogue by a San Diego police officer.

He used an AR-15 style rifle.

On April 16, 1927, a drunk Kelly confronted fellow actor Ray Raymond over his affair with Raymond's wife, actress Dorothy Mackaye. During their confrontation, Kelly hit him several times and left him on the floor.

Got famous for murdering and dismembering and videotaping Chinese international student Lin Jun in May 2012.

Was a police officer in Exeter, California in the early 1970s, as well as the Auburn Police Department in the late 1970s. Arrested on April 24th, 2018 at his home in Citrus Heights in Sacramento County, CA for his crimes as the 'Golden State Killer'.
