Dance Moms ran for 8 seasons on Lifetime. The series premiered in July 2011 and ran until September 2019. Dance Moms followed Abby Lee Miller and her dance company, where she trained children in dance and show business and dealt with the often bickering moms.

The reality show has seen a lot of dancers come and go. Some of them have even made it big in the dance/entertainment world. Some notable names to come out of the show have been Maddie and Kenzie Ziegler, Jojo Siwa, and Chloe Lukasiak. Some of the moms have stayed in the public eye as well.

But beyond having these young girls learn the art of dance, competitions and arguing, some genuine friendships were formed.
