Sakamoto Days excels at introducing characters who are not only unique but also stay etched in our memories for good or bad reasons. One such persona is definitely Jo Shackles, whom you would either love or downright hate for his absolutely unhinged attributes.
Jo is a newly introduced character in the Jaa Jail Arc, where he is shown to be the head guard of the B1 floor. When he first comes in contact with Shin, Boiled, and Heisuke, he comes off as pretty normal, but we only later understand how appearances can be deceiving.
His personality is molded in such a way that you are bound to detest him, but this quirkiness is what people are getting drawn to. Now he’s become one of the most beloved side characters, and fans want to see him animated as soon as possible.
