‘SNL’ Cold Open: ‘AA Team’ Jeanine Pirro, Pete Hegseth Have One Big, Boozy Reunion
Former Saturday Night Live cast member Cecily Strong revived her portrayal of Jeanine Pirro alongside Colin Jost as Pete Hegseth, and the pair of “old drinking buddies” celebrated their reunion.
The duo, called the “AA team” by Donald Trump (James Austin Johnson), were glad to link up again after their stints at Fox News.
“I’m so proud to be part of this group full of Russian assets, booze hounds, and people famous for the little baby animals they’ve killed,” said Pirro, whom Trump had named interim attorney for the District of Columbia.
