It came as a huge surprise when Astro Royale, by Tokyo Revengers‘ creator, Ken Wakui, concluded after just 50 chapters. Fans were left disappointed, but the decision was somewhat justified given the lackluster story and characters that just failed to compel the readers.

Black Torch, on the other hand, also suffered a similar fate, as it got canceled after 5 volumes. But unlike Astro Royale, it is now on the verge of a comeback with its anime adaptation now announced. Black Torch isn’t an old-school ninja show, but it has this cool ninja-demon-cat vibe that keeps you hooked.
