Exclusive: Alongside A24, Jimmy Tatro and Dan Lagana have sold HBO on Lifties, an ensemble comedy series set in the snow.

Further plot details are under wraps. Tatro will star in the series, which he’s co-writing and exec producing alongside Lagana, with A24 as co-studio. The project reunites Lagana and Tatro following their work on American Vandal, an Emmy-nominated and Peabody Award-winning mockumentary for Netflix, which ran for two seasons.

Lifties comes to HBO as the premium cabler looks to sort its next chapter in comedy, following the conclusion of such lauded series as Barry, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and The Righteous Gemstones.
