This movie is garbage. Hollyweird is giving the audience anything and attaching someone with a name to it. There is nothing empowering about a woman that abandons her child to go pursue her dream and have a lesbian lover. Wait..after being abused by a man. Way to continue virtue signaling.

Not only was this movie absolute rubbish and predictable drama. Berry got an actual mma fighters (cat zigano) contract ripped up because she had to drop out of her fight to do the role. Once the company released her of her contract berry then said she didn't want someone not currently fighting to be in her movie. POS move considering this movie was trash anyway.

Summary: This movie is all about Halle Berry trying her best to prove she's a fan of MMA. So she put together one of the worst MMA movies of all-time, and that includes the Never Back Down series... Halle should never direct another movie again, and if she does I beg that she doesn't cast herself again. If I could I would rate this film a zero out of 10, biggest waste of time I've ever spent watching a movie.

To be completely honest... Worst movie I have ever scene on this level of budget. I don't want the feeling of being slighted by it to influence my review at all so I'm trying to be impartial, but this movie is so bad on so many different levels. Anyway you look at it, Bruised disappoints in every trite and contrived way possible. It makes every wrong move at almost every pass, it becomes like a car wreck you just can't look away from.

If it was just a bad movie trying to make a buck... fine okay no problem. But it's not. It's a 2:15 hour movie that is trying to be gritty and socially conscious but has no substance at all. Or I'd even say it has negative value. It's like a Jussie Smullet of women stories. Just feels so fake, eventually makes you feel ashamed for wanting to believe in it. I could go on and tell you every reason why but not worth any more time from anyone. Seriously.

Makes a moving about a struggling mma fighter after screwing over a struggling mma fighter. Halle berry should be better than this. Pay Cat. The actual move is meh also.

It's so cringey, generic, and long. The writing is terrible and the fighting scenes are so over exaggerated and unrealistic. So many of these movies exist so why even bother.

I can see that she's trying to do something new with her career but this was a wrong choice. She tries so hard to deliver a message and give a connection to the character but sadly, she tried a bit "TOO HARD".

Cliché storyline of hardworking mom taking care of their son. Other movies does it much better.

How many downtrodden females with kids not directly being supported by baby daddy and all the tropes and cliches that brings is she gonna sign up to play? Oh, and the music was the best part.

Just like Rocky, If Rocky were 2 hours of boring nothing. This could have been a 30 minute movie : woman, bad relationship meets another woman, life gets fantastic, makes a comeback, fights prove something to her son, game over.

This made Catwoman look entertaining....

I don't understand how this movie got a 6 out of 10. If you're a womens mma fan and actually train you'll hate this movie. If you're a casual mma sport fan you'll still hate this movie. It's predictable, dull, and the story line is just garbage.

This movie was a complete waste of time, money and production.

Halle Berry should stick to acting or modelling...that's it.

Story was completely rubbish, crap idea and waste of time trying to be PC and culturally relevant...just horse crap.

Don't even dare to put this movie with the liked of Warrior, not even worth to mention the name of this movie.

Do yourself a favour, skip this movie unless you would like to see Halle Berry semi nude, probably the only best thing in this film...

So predictable. Seems like an amateur movie at the moments. Bad acting, maybe we can give kudos to Budhekana or whatever her name is. Honestly not worth watching it, better make yourself a sandwich and eat it.

This piece had not even one credible sequence, not even one exciting boxing scene, no silver linning like the genre, no good acting, which is sad. The movie does not add anything new or exciting and it has no shine at all. At least was expecting a good story but not even that.

At first I was like what is this? Cause it popped up after watching something on Netflix. And since I'm not a big fan of fighting , I was like warry and also I was like who is this Cause I had no idea who the protagonist was or is but it was confusing cause I saw vestiges of Haley Berry there!

More than 80% of the newly released movies for the past few years INCLUDE:

• always a black person which is transgender or some homo orientation,
• if not, it will be other racial color, including white skin
• over repeating same speeches, non-sense actions from the main actor by the script
• captured no further than a meter or two, even in these pandemic times we live in now!?

That's the few reasons i still prefer old time movies! Acting may be bad AF, but still better than this!

Extremely boring, jumps to conclusions without much character development at all. Not worth your time. Truly a bummer I really was looking forward to this film...

Where? When? And how? Not in the movie I'm no longer watching. All been done before! Gave it 60 minutes because of 6.2 rating. But, freed myself after an hour.
