  • The festival takes place since 1953 and is acknowledged by the FIAPF as A festival since 1957. From 1953-1954 only spanish films were in competition. 1955 the festival was specialized in 'color films' only. From 1980-1984 the festival had been competitive, but wasn't acknowledged by the FIAPF and no major awards were given.
