Game of Thrones' Ed Skrein to Star in the Transporter Reboot
"Game of Thrones" star Ed Skrein will be succeeding Jason Statham in EuropaCorp's upcoming reboot of the "Transporter" franchise, reports Variety . "We searched everywhere to find a fresh face who had the potential to become an action movie star and we.ve found the right match with Ed Skrein, who.s not only a great actor but also has enough charisma and physical stamina to play Frank Martin with brio," EuropaCorp CEO Christophe Lambert said. According to the trade, the first new movie will return to the French Riviera, which was the setting of the first Statham movie. The reboot will explore Martin.s relationship with his father.
