You guys watched it 10.5 million times this week, behind only the Netflix original rom-com “La Dolce Villa,” which hit No. 1 for the second week in a row post-Valentine’s Day with 14.1 million views. “Uncharted” previously landed on Netflix on August 5, 2022, and it spent three consecutive weeks on the Netflix Top 10 charts at that time, reaching 23 million viewing hours in a single week.

Kadhalikka Neramillai ranked among the top 10 non-English films on Netflix between February 10 and 16, 2025. It amassed 2.2 million views and is placed at the last spot alongside other biggies like Lucca’s World (3.6 million), Death Before The Wedding (4.4 million), and Yami Gautam’s Dhoom Dhaam (4.1 million).

Ravi Mohan and Nithya Menen starrer also trended among the top 10 in 11 countries this week on Netflix.

Death Before The Wedding is a Polish comedy-drama that revolves around a family going through a crisis in their personal and professional lives. Mirek was a loving father who was proud of his daughter Maja’s academic achievements, but when she announced she wanted to get married, he refused to listen to her. He could not imagine her getting married, even though Maja had made up her mind.

Mirek soon discovered that the CEO of the dairy chain, Rylski, wanted to close down their branch. The farm was all Mirek had, and shutting it down was not an option. He pleaded with Rylski to reconsider, but after the dead body of the manager, who happened to die at the job, was discovered in the freezer, there was no scope for reconsideration. But not all hope was lost. Mirek’s wife, Regina, who also worked at the farm, befriended the boss’s wife,...

It is true that I’m not the biggest fan of comedy in general, but I always go into a film with an open mind, ready to be surprised. Unfortunately, Polish Netflix original Death Before The Wedding didn’t do the genre any favors in my books. In fact, it might have made me more averse to it; let me explain. The film tells the story of a young Polish woman who wants to marry a Black man; she has to convince her racist, misogynistic father, though. Her father’s also quite a terrible husband and doesn’t even remember his wedding anniversary, but her mother still sticks by his side. They both work at a dairy factory that is on the verge of shutting down, but to save the factory, this man is willing to do anything. What follows is a comedy of errors hoping to turn out like...

This week brings romance and plenty of it to your favorite streaming service. This is the week when our corporate overlords compel you to buy tons of candy and flowers to prove your love. It was as if putting up with their shenanigans all year wasn't proof enough.
