The storyline and world initially seem interesting, but the animation and transitions are poorly executed and feel like they weren't thought through carefully. Movements often lack proper follow-through, making everything feel disconnected. The character animation is stiff and stock-like, resembling graphics from an early 2000s video game. I watched the film in both English and French to compare the voice performances. In both versions, the voices lacked emotion and sounded very AI-generated to me. This film clearly feels like an experimental project, and it's best to approach it with that mindset. Otherwise, it will likely be a disappointment.

Terra Incognita is a surprising film created without any budget by a single individual who handled everything from A to Z-animation, screenplay, and music. While this is not Pixar-level animation, we must be forgiving and recognize the incredible achievement of crafting an adventure film with a unique steampunk universe and spiritual references. This film stands out from large productions that often prioritize mere entertainment over creativity. It showcases the power of one person's vision and determination. We should wholeheartedly applaud this filmmaker for daring to realize his dream and undertaking all this work alone. Let's encourage creativity and passion in filmmaking by supporting such ambitious projects!

This animated movie is unlike any other of its kind that i have ever seen. It is done in a steampunk style so perfectly depicted in that style. The characters are very well defined and interesting. The storyline is unpredictable and takes several unexpected turns with an ending that is equally unexpected. The details of the worlds presented are done so meticulously and with a great amount of detail. It truly is a refreshing departure from most other movies in this genre. It has a feel of a Jules Verne adventure which I particularly enjoy. If you like Jules Verne and this kind of style, this movie is a "must see".

I recommend this film to all fans and enthusiasts of these extraordinary exploration themes that will take you on an inner and outer journey through several dimensions of reality, as well as reflect on and delve deeper into certain subjects that are absolutely not fiction.
