This movie is seriously something else. One of the best ensemble casts ever, and honestly, Brad Pitt and Margaret Qualley totally steal the show. Brad is just effortlessly cool, and Qualley... man, she's stunning - like, insanely hot - and she lights up every second she's on screen.
The script? Amazing. It's hilarious and full of these long, perfectly written scenes that really dig into the whole old-school Hollywood vibe. So many great characters just bouncing off each other in the best way. Tarantino absolutely nailed it with the writing here.
The vibe is perfect. It feels dreamy and nostalgic, but you know the harsh reality nightmare... Well, here it slowly turning into a fantasy. The ending? Brutally fun and so Tarantino. Not as violent as some of his other stuff.
Special shoutout to Julia Butters - she's only in two scenes, but wow, she crushes it. One of the best child performances I've seen in a long time.
And of course, the whole thing is a tribute to Sharon Tate. Margot Robbie plays her beautifully - she really looks and feels like her, and the movie treats her memory with so much respect. It's sad because of what actually happened, but Tarantino gives us this alternate ending that's kind of healing in a weird way.
Huge respect to Tarantino for pulling this off. One of his most unique and heartfelt films.
Final Score: 9/10.

Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti absolutely crushed it - great acting and amazing chemistry between them. The idea behind Palm Springs is really cool too. I mean, yeah, it's another time loop story, but they managed to keep it feeling fresh and original.
That said, the script felt kinda weak. It had so much potential to go deeper - like, you can tell it wants to say something meaningful underneath the comedy, but it just doesn't quite get there. Some of the dialogue could've used more punch or depth, and if that had been stronger, this could've been something really special.
Still, there are a lot of funny moments, it moves along at a good pace, and it doesn't get boring. The editing helps keep things tight, and it's not overly long, which works in its favor.
I'd give it a 7 out of 10 - with lots of compromises. Tons of fun, but just shy of greatness.

So, I just watched The Birds, and honestly... kinda disappointed. I didn't expect much since I'm not really a Hitchcock fan, but I still thought it would be more gripping.
Tippi Hedren, the lead actress, was definitely one of the highlights - she's beautiful and has a few strong moments. But overall, the acting felt off in a lot of scenes, and not just from her. Hard to say whether it's the actors or the direction to blame, but something didn't quite click.
The effects are super outdated, which I expected, but I was hoping the atmosphere would make up for it. Unfortunately, it didn't. For a movie about birds attacking people, it just didn't feel as tense or creepy as it should've. The story also felt kinda thin and cheap at times.
That said, I did like the idea behind it. The birds themselves were pretty cool, and some scenes actually worked. It's definitely not the worst Hitchcock film I've seen, maybe even one of the better ones for me - but that's not saying much.
In the end, it just didn't do it for me.
Final Score: 4/10.
