I Am Not Your Negro

As we enter Black History Month, this movie and its message have never been more relevant. The wisdom and powerful words of James Baldwin are reminiscent of the fiery restraint that powered a movement of passive resistance and civil disobedience, which seems uncommon in a popular culture of detached complacency and social media anonymity. It is good to understand the lessons of history because the time may come again when we need to stand and be counted. I look forward to showing this doc to as many people as I can get my hands on. — Lance
