When Fitzgerald and Bridger return to camp to be paid for staying behind with Hugh Glass, the captain offers Bridger money for his efforts even though he gave his original share to Fitzgerald. Captain Henry is shown placing the money on the table in front of Bridger. Bridger then gets up and storms out without taking the money he was offered. The money is clearly shown on the table when he leaves. In the next cut back to that part of the table, the money is no longer there.
