Spike Lee announced this week an unreleased Prince song will be featured in the closing moments of his latest film, BlacKkKlansman. Prince recorded the spiritual "Mary Don't You Weep" on cassette in the 1980s. The vocals-and-piano track is low-fi and intimate, and we're expecting it to pack an emotional punch: Lee said the song will play during the end credits over footage from the 2017 white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Va.
