Evangelion Gets New Misato and Pen Pen Gals Figure Release
A new duo of Neon Genesis Evangelion figures is set to bring key characters to life in collectible form. The first two entries aren't based on any of the mechs, however, but instead involve Misato and her pet bird.
Based on their depictions in the Rebuild of Evangelion movie series, the figures feature Misato Katsuragi and her pet penguin Pen Pen. Both are depicted drinking and taking a break from saving the world, making the collectibles more of a "slice of life" form of merchandising. They're just a few of the currently announced Evangelion collectibles, with the series' popularity affording it continued support.
