'The Continental' 'John Wick' Prequel Series Has Officially Been Canceled at Peacock
Keanu Reeves' John Wick always puts two in the head, but it's one and done for the prequel series, The Continental. Released in 2023 on Peacock and Prime Video. The Continental was the first attempt at a John Wick spin-off, telling the story of Winston's rise to power as the manager of the New York branch of the titular hotel. The show was originally billed as a Limited Series, and ran for three episodes. But, some fans were hoping for more. Unfortunately, the series has now been whacked. Speaking to The Direct, producer Basil Iwanyk confirmed The Continental will not return for a second season. He first expressed the team's pride over the first season, and that they got to tell a complete story.
