After 40 years, The Goonies still never say die, as is evident by the recent news that a sequel to the beloved 1985 film is officially in the works by Stephen Spielberg and Chris Columbus. Reactions have undoubtedly been mixed, with some saying they can't wait to see what happens next, while others believe the original is a classic, and should be left alone.
